  • It is none of Clinton's business, the agreement for NATO is 2% of GDP for NATO members. The UK has always spent more than that and will continue to do so. Therefore Galloway is right in this situation. The U.S should keep quiet unless NATO agreements are broken which they aren't

  • Yes it is of concern to Hillary Clinton. As we are members of N.A.T.O.and she being the Secretary for Defence,i find it understandable that she is concerned. Our armed forces will shortly be about the size of a boy scout troop and just as effective. As it is we might as well give the Falklands to the Argentines now.Its about time you removed your blinkers George and wake up to our reality, not your imaginings

  • What a Communist Mr. Galloway is.

    Therefore HIS opinion is invalid.

  • I am a right wing conservative and Galloway is spot on the money.

    The US can piss off.

You support the Argentinians, then you have the nerve to complain about our contribution to the stupid wars in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya!

    The nerve!!!!!

  • I think Hillary was thinking was back to the Falkland war when the UK had to fall back on the US to build up weapons stocks when it fought Argentina ...

  • @ClarksonsinUSA It was only a fair payback from when France & Britain rescued USA power in WW1 from Kaiser's Germany.

Please, if you want to post provocative comments, do it somewhere else.

  • @TheLiberalKnight okay, please tell me where WW1 was fought ..It was not an American WAR,do you think those extra million American troops tipped the balance in that European war.???....And ended the stalemate...

  • @ClarksonsinUSA You guys always bring up the fact that a million Americans were sent to France in WW1, and pretend that's what won the war. Well, you're utterly incorrect. If America won the war, why did they suffer just 2% of the casualities compared to 20% from Britain & France and 30% from Russia? No. And you didn't even contribute financially. Britain was richer and lent more money in ww1 than America did. French soldiers and the Royal Navy won WW1.

  • @TheLiberalKnight I never bring up WW1 ,unless someone says something stupid....

  • @ClarksonsinUSA Well I'm fucking tired of Americans saying they won WW1. You didn't win either of the world wars. WW1 was Anglo/French victory, and WW2 was a Russian one. If you didn't constantly boast about how amazing your military is, everyone would love America. But in actual fact, nobody likes America, because of your governments sheer arrogance. I mean, who the fuck is Hillary Clinton to tell the UK government how to cut services? She can fuck right off.

  • @TheLiberalKnight its lonely at the top...

    ;)

  • @TheLiberalKnight I wouldn't say the americans won WW1, but we helped. In WW2 if the americans never entered the war, the russians would've been fighting the entire german army, becuase they was split up. The americans as far as I'm concerned took away some of the Nazis attention to give you the russians that victory. And lastly, the war wasn't still over. Did you forget the japanese? Or did the russians secrertly nuked Hiroshima too? No, wait that too was the americans!

  • @nmosely1988 I'm not Russian. You mildly helped in WW1. Mildly! You shouldn't have been invited to the peace talks.

The Japanese were a secondary threat compared to the Germans. They fought harder, but their influence and power was far smaller than Germany's.

  • @TheLiberalKnight The europeans was happy with them aid, ammo, and weapons they did receive from the americans. And as far as cause and effect, because of the japanese the chinese actually grew some balls and demanded Hong Kong to be returned.

  • @nmosely1988 The Russians invaded China where most of the Japanese military was stationed which hastened the Japanese defeat as they Japanese knew they could no longer hope to hold out for a better deal, the nuclear weapons dropped on Japan made it clear they were about to get spit-roasted like a cheap hooker and thus they surrendered. This is coming from an Australian who appreciates the American military support we were given during WW2.

  • @ValiantVendetta The russian invaded too late to do any real good, the americans had already defeated the imperal naval fleet way before the russians decided to join in and take some land and keep it. And the japanese knew that after the island hopping campaign and losing all their carriers to the americans. Not all of the japanese wanted to give up and end the war, there was a few whole could've prolonged the war up to the 1950s.

  • Well said. From what I've seen on the austerity measures and their effects in Britain, your money would be far better spent at home than chasing phantom terrorists about all over The Middle East and the sub-continent.

A defence force is necassary and affordable. An attack/occupation force is a luxury and definitely NOT affordable right now.

  • @crocfme correct, we should be protecting our islands, not the Americans interest.

  • @baptsan God Knows.

  • And I think it's ridiculous that you think the US fought WWII just so we could steal the Northern Marianas Islands from the Japanese. Why did we have to fight in Europe and Africa or China and Burma for the Marianas Islands? lol You're such an idiot!

Few Americans even know about the Marianas Islands. These islands are insignificant to us. We did not fight a huge bloody global war for these islands. You're an idiot.

And it was the Japanese that attacked us, not the other way around.

  • These Islands did not belong to the US before, so

    you STOLE it !!!

    -

It is so simple. Got it ??

    -

It is not relevant if some idiot know

    about it or not.

    -

Japan at that time had an evil aggresive regime

    like the US now.

  • @baptsan

    I got it.

The US fought a huge expensive bloody war all over the globe, in N. Africa, Europe, China, and all over the Pacific and Alaska, so that we could steal some little insignificant islands of no value out in the middle fricken nowhere. Is that what you're trying to say?

    You're a retard! LOL

  • Now let us take a insignificant land from the US this time !

This is the normal way countries develop!

  • @baptsan

    Good luck with that.

You're always great at missing the point and not answering the most important relevant questions.

  • @baptsan

And if the United States is an evil aggressive regime, why aren't we invading Mexico and Canada?

  • In a way it is the business of the United States. You are a member of NATO and are obligated to maintain a strong military. A weak military invites war.

Your inability to defend yourself or help in peacekeeping efforts creates a bigger burden for the United States. We already shoulder 10 times your usual contribution. Now are we to expect even less?

  • A weak military invites war. - ????

Switzerland - has a very very week military and no war !

Iraq and US - has a lot of militray and a lot of war !

    -Creazy idiot.

  • @baptsan

Weak countries rely on more powerful countries to defend it. What if it was known that no one would help defend Switzerland? How long would it last?

The US fights a lot of wars defending other countries. What if Russia or China knew that the US would not intervene in there conquests of other countries?

Iraq invaded Kuwait because it was a weak country and Sadam did not think anyone would go to war against the 4th largest military in the world to save Kuwait. He was wrong.

  • I do not think your crazy republican mind will ever change.

    -

Go on and fight your sensless wars ! Attack Iran we will see how it

will turn out for you ! You like the Iraq war too, do you ???

    -

USA did more war than any other country combined in the

    last 50 years, congratulation !

    -

I have a family and I want peace for us not wars, but you can not understand this.

  • @baptsan

Like I said, the US protects other countries from invasion and conquests. It's a tough job but somebody has to do it.

  • The US not protects any country,

only OIL , and do some dirty work for

    the zionist regime.

  • @baptsan

We fought WWI and WWII and Korean War and Vietnam War for oil and zionist regime?

  • WWII - for the zionist lobby

Korean War and Vietnam War - against the Sovjets, but

    not for another country.

    Panama invasion- just for fun.

Iraq war - for the zionist lobby

Iran war (is coming) - for the zionist lobby

    .................

  • @baptsan

There were some Soviets fighter pilots in the Korean war, but mostly it was North Koreans and Chinese. And why would we want to fight the Soviets or the Chinese or the North Koreans? For what purpose?

And what was WWI and WWII about?

What does the Iraq War have to do with the Zionist lobby?

  • @baptsan

If it's about dominance over communism, why do we need to wait for a country to be invaded before we act? Why don't we just invade Russia or China?

The first Gulf War had nothing to do with getting rid of Saddam. It was about liberating Kuwait.

So if the problem is with Hesbollah and the Palestinians, why don't we attack Hesbollah and Palestine?

  • @baptsan

I thought you said we wanted to fight the Russians for dominance? So we DO NOT want to fight the Russians? Make up your mind. If we don't want to fight Russia, then why did we fight in the Korean War?

How is the first Gulf War for the oil? Did we steal oil from the Kuwaitis? If so, why isn't the Kuwaitis complaining about this? Why isn't the UN complaining about this? Why did 29 other coalition countries including Saudi Arabia and Egypt help us to steal Kuwaiti oil?

  • @baptsan

Why do we need to "sell that Hesbollah and Palistine have WMD? What does it matter to the Zionist lobby? Don't we just do what the Zionist lobby tell us to do?

What do you mean we tried in Lebanon? The US has never attacked Lebanon. We and the French had peace keeping forces there once, but no one attacked Lebanon. So what are you talking about?

  • @baptsan

And you still haven't explained WWI and WWII to me. What does it have to do with oil and the Zionist lobby? And what does it have to do with dominance over communism? Russia and China were our allies in WWII.

  • @baptsan

The US entered WWII because the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and then Germany declared war on the US 2 days later. What does that have to do with the Zionist lobby, or oil?

What lands did the US steal in WWII? Do we own most of Europe and the Pacific? Do we own Italy and France and Germany? Do we own Japan, China the Philippines?

Russia was invaded by Germany and China was invaded by Japan. What does that have to do with chasing a gazelle.

  • "Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor "

    - Did you know that the US had long blockad on

Japan before Japan attacked the US ??

(Japan had an evil regime that time)

    -

    - Not the US- but Isreal stole the land

of the palestinians, the US stole a lot of Islands from Japan f.e.

    -

    - "chasing a gazelle" I ment the US and the Sovjetunion

was anything but allies. They were arch enemies.

  • @baptsan

    - "chasing a gazelle" I ment the US and the Sovjetunion

was anything but allies. They were arch enemies.

That still doesn't make any sense.

The Russians were in deed our allies. They were not our "friends" and we didn't trust them or liked them, but they were our allies. We fought the same enemies. We aided and cooperated with them in our common goal of defeating the Nazis and the Japanese.

  • @baptsan

The US did not steal any islands from the Japanese. The islands we fought on or fought for did not belong to the Japanese, no more than the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Korea, Indonesia, or Malaysia belonged to them.

  • Tho US of course they stole a lot of islands.

    -

Or you want to say the US did not stole half of Mexico either ??

Are we at that level ????

  • @baptsan

And if we were going to wage a massive expensive bloody war to steal territory, why bother with worthless little islands that have no value? Why not take Japan itself? Or why not keep all the countries we liberated from them and the Germans?

We also didn't need to fight the Germans and the French and the Italians in order to steal small worthless islands in the Pacific from the Japanese.

  • @baptsan

There was no blockade on Japan. That would require us surrounding the Japanese islands with naval warships and preventing them from receiving shipments.

If you are talking about an embargo . . . we do not have to sell them our oil or scrap metal. Who we sell to and trade with is our prerogative. We did not trade with them because we did not want to help them to invade other countries by selling them the things they needed in order to conduct their war.

And like I already said, it wasn't their islands.

  • @baptsan

Dude, you're a fricken idiot! You don't know shit about anything, so why don't you shut the fuck up already.

By the way, I'm 46 and I'm Vietnamese.

  • So you are a Vietnamese got some napalm on your

head from your frieds and can not remember anything ???

  • @baptsan

The US did not steal any islands from the Japanese. Name 1 Japanese island that we stole.

If you're going back more than 150 years, neither Mexico nor the US was completely formed yet. There were territorial disputes like with every other nation in the world. This is how countries are made.

So why haven't we started a war with Mexico and taken their entire country? Its a weak country unable to defend itself against the most powerful country in the world.

  • For example this islands were also stolen:

    Saipan and Tinian.

"neither Mexico nor the US was completely formed yet. There were territorial disputes like with every other nation in the world"

"So why haven't "we" started a war with Mexico and taken their entire country?"

"We " - You are a viet Kong, you wanted to attack Mexico ?????????

    - with such an idiot it is time to stop conversation, vote republican !

  • @baptsan

Like, I said, these islands did not belong to the Japanese. The Japanese are not the indigenous people of the Marianas islands. The Japanese took these islands from the Germans at the end of WWI as part of a reward for helping the allies in WWI and as a punishment to Germany. Before that, they belonged to Spain.

  • @baptsan

The US took the Northern Marianas Islands from the Japanese because they were using it as a military base to control the area and as a staging point for the invasion of Australia and New Zealand.

So now we are using these islands as a military base. But other than that, these islands have no value.

  • @baptsan

I didn't say I think we should attack Mexico. I asked you a question. Why haven't we attacked Mexico? Do you have a reading comprehension problem? You're the idiot who can't read.

And I am not a Viet Cong. Do you know what a Viet Cong is? You're a racist idiot!

  • @baptsan

So you think invading Mexico and taking their lands and enslaving their people is ridiculous? I agree. Because the US does not do things like that. So why would we fight WWII to take lands from other people?

If that was the kind of thing we did, Mexico and Canada are much easier and more convenient. Canada is rich in natural resources. We get most of our oil and timber from them. Why hasn't the US started some bogus war with them and invaded them?

  • Comment removed

  • @baptsan

You have to fight small wars to prevent big ones.

  • The US didn't intrude in UK affairs, what an over sensitive cunt.

  • I believe as a member of NATO we are obliged to spend a certain percentage of GDP on defence?
