She skates really beautifully... I'd wager she's got competitive figure skating in her background... sort of bizarre that someone who skates that well would leave the skid brake on her skates. It's like seeing Lance Armstrong with training wheels.

personally i think people who do backwards skating in this fashion are annoying because they try too hard to look fancy. i justjump and do a 180 while leaning forward. but im a very advanced speed ice skater and blader. so i guess i understand why she does it like that?

Many thanks for this video! :) This is best backward inline skate video on whole Internet! I learned a lot from it and I after few tries I am able to do the similar what you do - kind backwards crososvers/crossunders in combination which is maybe like "backward double push" if that exist ... I very happy about it ... to be honest I watched more then 20 times this video ... and in overall it helped me a lot improving my backward skating!
