Propellerhead Reason 4 Tutorial programming Combinator patches splits and layers with keyranges

I am trying to export my file into a song and when it records the track the Run Pattern button records and I do not want it to. I want to record the track to convert it to a mp3 but how do you stop the pattern button from recording with the track?
