what info do u have on the pmag "issues"? i have a new mp15, i've put 250 rds thru and occasionally (like 10-15times) had a jam, like the round cant make it thru the m4 feed ramp, gets gouged real bad, bent and jammed 1/2 way into bolt. i have polishd the feed ramps, but i ruled the mags out cause they get such great reviews. idk?
Lol when you said you have not shot many rounds through it I thought you were gonna be like every other douchebag that goes out and buys an ar15, shoots a box of ammo and puts it up. I hate when people review a gun that they have barely touched. much respect for that man.
556 in a 223 chamber??? To my knowledge most companies making AR's for civilian sales nowaday's use what is called a "Wylde" chamber that is safe to shoot .223 or 5.56 through. It's a hybrid of sorts. Shooting 223 or 556 through these are a non issue in MOST CURRENT productuion AR's. RRA, Remington, Colt, S&W, and Stag to name but a few. Check with the manufacturer to be doubly sure before purchase though. Bolt guns are a different story. Avoid 556 in a 223 chambered bolt action unless noted.
Good review, but I want to point out that .223 and 5.56 are not really one in the same. If you shoot 5.56 in a weapon that is .223 you will mess it up. While the external dimensions are identical, the .223 is loaded to lower pressures and velocities than the 5.56. You CAN shoot .223 to a weapon spec'd for 5.56, but NOT the other way around.
Yeah I messed up that part stumbling over my words. I'm aware of the difference but this gun is chambered in 5.56 so it's one in the same in terms of what this gun will fire is what I was trying to say. I need to write a script for these reviews.. haha. Thanks for pointing it out though.
@fishfrizbee Well the 5.56 isn't as plentiful as the .223 really. You can get a box of 100 rounds of Federal .223 for about 40 bucks at WallyWorld and a box of 20 rounds of the 5.56 Winchester White Box or about 8 or 9 bucks- these are 55 grain FMJ, but if you're looking to get the good stuff- I use TAP FPD for my SD round, the 5.56 is a little harder to get over the counter whereas the .223 is plentiful. Good luck and be safe.
Great video, great gun! About to buy this one myself, how much did you pay?... Also, Just letting you know, The A1 is windage adjustable only, the A2 Is windage and elevation adjustable but still not removable, and the A3 is windage, elevation, and removable, so your's would be the A3 :)
Picked one up today. Very nice gun, would highly recommend.

Is the bolt in a S&W an M16 bolt or an AR15 bolt?
Does S&W properly stake their gaskey in the carrier?
