I had the pleasure of playing with these guys in 2007, this is the style that made them so unique and impressionable. they we're and are an amazing group of guys. And as said this was a BIG part of their growth as a band....
Flamingo Trigger gets a bad rap. They were a young band. They've evolved a lot. This was just part of their evolution, and I enjoyed most of the songs on Flamingo Trigger, personally.

You should no that a band playing this sort of music did not do so to reach fame. They have faaaar too much non-radio rock tendencies to shoot to the top. They want to be themselves and plays what they feel. I could care less about a persons or a bands talent level if they are making interesting music that I can't find from any other band. Argue your point all you want, but you're arguing a different story if your only fallback is talent or musical technicality as the basis for enjoyable music.
