  • Robin, was such a little fop, trying to be butch! He really didn't wan't to kiss her. He was saving his lips for Batman!

  • Leslie only likes female Robins.

  • Holy bat boner

  • Her body was ridiculous! Wow!

  • it does look like the segment was spliced in?

  • does anyone know if this has been cut from the hub broadcasts? or if it was cut when it was show on FX or Sci-Fi in the 90's. I have never seen this at all, thanks for posting

  • One word - CREEEEEPY!!!!!!

  • Meoww!

  • SHE'S one HOT kitty...prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  • Had no idea Ms. Gore was on Bat Man--well she sure married pop song with pop tv!!

  • Wow--I agree, I grew up as a little kid watching Batman in first-run, and then in the early '70s in reruns, but never recalled watching this episode in repeats featuring this other song sung by Gore in this episode, in addition to her California Nights song snippet. Great share--thanks.

  • LOL! "(I'm the assistant of a professional thief suited like a hooker and I'm also suited like a hooker but...) I'm not the kind of girl that kiss a boy at first time (...even if it might be my only chance)".

  • Lesley Gore was such an adorable little dish, how'd her character end up in a life of crime? (Yeah, I know, looks can be downright deceiving. Still a cute chick, however, with SUCH an equally talented AND cute singing voice, though.) Thanks a bunch for the upload. :-)

  • Thanks! I don't have this on my episode.

  • Disregard my comment,posted before watching clip,my bad,lol.

  • @galaia2004 The song title is "Maybe I Know" not "Maybe Now".

  • @banner74 "Maybe I Know" is a different song. In this song, she's definitely singing "Maybe now"

  • I heard that Batman is gay , Any truth to this ? Like Lezzie Gore .

  • It's Lezzie Gore ! On Batman ?

  • I've often read that back then Burt Ward was the married responsible one and Adam West was the whore. Saw a special several years ago where the two of them were interviewed. Burt remarked that sometimes on set he'd be out for a stroll ( at the studio ) and would turn a semi-dark corner and " there would be some young woman on her knees servicing Adam".

  • It should have been a picture of Juliet Prowse that Leslie was gazing at.

  • 1: 30 Woah Robin is fast. What a douche.

  • This is extra footage... the original broadcast only had California Nights. But you have to love two sixties sex kittens dressed as cats!

  • @misterlove3301 when we watched re-runs of batman in the 70's....this song was included.....

  • Was lucky enough to find very nice copies of the entire series on DVD and yes, both songs are intact. Very nice indeed. Pause and...adore !

  • This song made Catwoman horny too. She was always wanting to stroke Batmans Herm!

  • Robin woke up after he had a big erection when he opened the door to kiss the kitten. ! mmmm!

    Watch the 1:15 minute

  • @ferdo1688 yes....its there!!

  • Maybe the boy wonder is go to get some ponetang.

  • Amazing quality. Almost a glimpse of how the DVD's might look. What was the source?

  • I really respect a girl who won't kiss a boy on the first crime.

  • @ridgerunner721601 Maybe the fact she turned out to be a Lesbian had something to do with it, then again Robin does sort of resemble a girl, and this show was so gay no offense to homosexuals intended.

  • @hydrolito I don't know. Hollywood is full of dykes and queers who used to have everybody fooled until they started thinking it was cool to be queer. But later on it was reported in National Enquirer that Lesley had a 'thing' for Chief O'Hara. Seems she was crazy about stereotypical Irish beat cops with a thick brogue. Mother McCree!!!!!

  • LOL! Oh, boy that's something! "Not the type of girl to kiss a boy on the first crime"

  • Trippy

  • Everything on Burt is big NOW! haha not just the package.

  • i would've done robin..:D

  • Oh man I just wish I was Robin. I would hit that kitty cat

  • Not the kind of girl to kiss on the first crime!!!...that's great...

  • I thought she sang "California Nights" on Batman?

  • Lesley lip-synced California Nights on part one of batman. On part two, she lip-synced Maybe Now. A song she wrote for her California Nights album. Lesley's uncle was the producer of Batman.

  • Also sang "California Nights". First place I heard that song. Meow....she was pretty hot to a 12 year old. lol

  • @uncleputz13 She even intrigued a 6 1/2 year old boy when she sang this song! Saw it on Hub TV yesterday and they cut out this song again! At least we were able to see both parts back to back and heard most of "California Nights" on part one!

  • I hate when the damn syndicators butcher a great tune like

    this.

  • Gosh, Leslie Gore was (is) a cute pretty sweety-pie !

    I'm in lvoe.

I heerd Burt Ward had a huge package that had to be duck-taped down so it wouldn't be so prominent on camera

  • Lesley was known as the "cutie-pie from Tenafly".

  • She's a lesbian.

  • I think Burt Ward flatters himself too much.

  • @3dartistguy Hahaha, well... Burt IS playing second fiddle to Adam West...

If I was Burt, I'd prolly give myself at least 15 seconds of fame, strutting my stuff around town, when the opportunity and mood hit me...

I always wondered how I'd react if I were in a situation like Burt or Adam or (place name of TV actor here)...

  • considering the fact that Ward weighs about 300 pounds now, Im sure his 'bulge" is a little itty bitty one compared to the rest of his overflated body.

  • Really on the "package"?..mmmmmm:)

  • Prolly not right on his package, I think Butt was wearing shorts (underwear) , and the costume designer rolled the duck tape over Burt's shorts, and THEN Burt put on his Robin shorts.

I should prolly do this. I got a stubb, not a shlong. I noticed my stubb sticks out prominently in side view of a full-length mirror when I wear my pleated Docker pants. No wonder women giggle at me when I wear Dockers.

    Don't laugh.

  • @DancingSpiderman im rolling on the the floor laughing

  • @mikeben1958 Before you laugh at the description of my stubby, maybe YOU should take a look at yourself in trousers in sideview; maybe you also have a pokie-outie stubby-tent problem and you don't even know it !

More than 50% of the fellas at work have this stubby tent issue, but since they tend to be 2nd and 3rd levels, I can't just go up to them and tell them their stubby tent shows up around the corner before the rest of them does...

  • @DancingSpiderman not laughing at you.....i would never laugh at anyone would watches batman....if you took offense, i am sorry.....:(

  • @mikeben1958 BWAAhahah, no, I'm just having fun on a Friday afternoon... I'm glad I gave you a good laugh !

  • @DancingSpiderman He actually had to take 2 hour pills for it. He talks about it in his burt ward my life in tights book. And on the movie back to the batcave

  • @catxgirlx34 Haha, I wish I had THAT problem.

Thanks for the info catgurl !

  • @DancingSpiderman Actually i messed up >_< The movie was return to the batcave. not back to the batcave x)

  • @catxgirlx34 hahaha, I like this smiley >_<

  • @DancingSpiderman same here lol

  • This is true..he ended up taking Pills so he would be well soft so to speak during filming

  • @auaiao9 Me too,i would love to help you suck it till it cums!Tom Diehl

  • @DancingSpiderman Burt Ward started that rumour lol

  • @DoctorScrumpy He probably did.

  • @DancingSpiderman Absolutley, I think this sort of problem began when Robert Taylor had an uncontrolable hard-on when he was working with Liz Taylor doing a movie with her, then later Beau Bridges got the same thing with Margot Kidder in "Gaily Gaily".You can see him covering his member over his PJ's in that movie.

  • @TheWd3829 haha... that scene would make it worth finding the movie to see that

See...? that's the reason I don't wear pajamas... loose clothing tends to cause that "problem"

  • @DancingSpiderman Duck Tape would be insufficient. They had to use Bat-Tape.

  • @Raguleader lol

    hahaha

  • @DancingSpiderman Indeed she is! wow!

  • Maybe Now was released as the B side of Treat Me Like A Lady in September 1966. It was featured on Lesley's album, California Nights, which was released May 1967.

  • they probably cut the scene to make room for the commercials.

  • Hai Karate and Marlboro, or maybe Quisp.

    Yumm.

  • Jill St. John was killed in the first episode, I believe her name in the show was Molly. But there were 2 henchmen also killed in a Zelda the Great episode.

  • Thank you. I stand corrected. Do you remember the name of the actress in that particular episode?

  • Anne Baxter was Zelda The Great.

  • Wasn't Leslie Gore's character killed off in this episode-the only character to die during the entire series? Correct me if I'm wrong.

  • Yeah your wrong. It was the first episode and was a lady that was with the Riddler. She was dress to look like Robin. She got killed in the Batcave.

  • One of the best scenes from the episode and the series IMO. Thanks to ol' YouTube we have it here, otherwise we'd never see it again. I thought the whole Watchmen film rights with Fox and Warners were to pave the way for an official DVD release of the series. Guess I was wrong???

  • Okanagan, good point about WKRP. but some songs got left in, dam lawyers :-(

  • The song was probably cut out so they would not have royalties. It seem to happen a lot with old shows. Look at WKRP in Cinncinatti for example. It's too bad.

  • Probably so. Lesley wrote this song.

  • Hmmm. Could this have been the episode that inspired "Josie And The Pussycats"?

  • In syndication, this song was cut out but TVLAND showed it, shocker!!! Lesley was a true talent, she could sing, write and act!!!

  • @dh1173 TVLAND sux, that's why. They cut everything to make room for more commercials. A shoddy outfit. Either watch episodes online or buy the DVDs

  • @MaceMn You won't hear ANY arguement from on me that one! Both TVLAND & NICK@NITE are just what you said and then some considering what they used to be. They did the exact same thing to Lesley's appearance on The Donna Reed Show as well.

  • @dh1173 You know what? ... I misread your comment. I just assumed TVLAND had cut the song out. That's what I get for making assumptions. lol I bet if they aired Batman these days they would cut it though.

  • @MaceMn Its ok, Mace! LOL! Your right, they probably would at that. Come to think about it, I think cut CALIFORNIA NIGHTS to play MAYBE NOW.

  • wish the full uncut episode could be found not in parts either.

  • Warner and Fox will stop fighting over royalties and release this on DVD just in time for all of us who want it to be dead and buried...and then they'll sit around going "Why isn't this selling"... :-(

  • that's the truth ... they don't seem to realize these things absolutely have a shelf life (and it's getting shorter!!)

  • Thank-you, I realize I have an old VHS tape that I recorded the who Batman segment with Lesley on it. Dusting it off right now :) Ski Party and Girls On The Beach too!

  • wheres california nights? it was here a while back! i want that version.

  • I thought Lesley had sung California Nights on this episode as well?

  • She did, in Part 1.

  • LOL......wonder how uncomfortable Lesley was doing that. She wasn't the type of girl to kiss a boy at all!

  • I do not care. Lesley Gore just simply IS, and I grew up with her music as a kid. I liked her 40+ years ago, and still do today!

  • great song. i was four when batmania hit. the character has been a big part of my life ever since. thank you for posting this. ms. gore had/has a great voice. robin and pussycat should have gotten together. thanks again. john

  • I really like this song

  • Maybe Now was a track from Lesley's album, California Nights, and was the B side of the single, California Nights.

  • The sixties were so fun and cheesey!!!

  • Wow,haven't seen this since it first aired in early 1967.One of my favorite BATMAN episodes.Robin should have married Pussycat.

  • I really wish I could be robin right now!!!

  • Same here!

  • Excellent! I'd never seen this before.

  • her last line was funny!!!!

  • Thank you for sharing this with us! I always have loved this singer, so this is a treat!
