DMC developed a disorder in his vocal cords during the making of RUN DMC'S Album "Down with the King" that caused him to lose most of the base in his voice and develope voice spasms. Unfortunately for DMC, [love him so much] people who develope this disorder often sound timid, scared and afraid. This may explain why in the video, he trys to put on a ruff mean face. lol.
