joey jordison is a great drummer and hes probably a bit faster than moe but moe makes really clever beats and fills and is pretty fast and intricate anyways. i really like some of slipknot's songs but i think protest the hero are more inventive and different so id probably say i prefer them.

hey now, you need to realize that slipknot and protest the hero are two completely different bands... comparing drummers is a lil unorthodox considering that Joey Jordison is the main drummer of slipknot, and def uses his feet better than Moe Carlson, and the other 2 "drummers" of slipknot are just percussion noise makers. Moe though, has some of the best hands a drummer could ask for, playing off kilter beats that most cannot copy without endless time dedicated to practicing. Theyre both good.

joey jordison is a great drummer and hes probably a bit faster than moe but moe makes really clever beats and fills and is pretty fast and intricate anyways. i really like some of slipknot's songs but i think protest the hero are more inventive and different so id probably say i prefer them.

Why is anybody even talking about Slipknot? They're completely different genres and are both good at what they do. But technicality wise, Protest the Hero can play circles around Slipknot. Seriously their music is more difficult and musical in general.

Why are people talking about Slipknot? The title doesn't say SLIPKNOT - Blindfolds Aside. You can;t say Slipknot sucks because it's a complete different genre. PTH is mathcore, Slipknot is nu-metal. Both bands are amazing in their own genre.

hey now, you need to realize that slipknot and protest the hero are two completely different bands... comparing drummers is a lil unorthodox considering that Joey Jordison is the main drummer of slipknot, and def uses his feet better than Moe Carlson, and the other 2 "drummers" of slipknot are just percussion noise makers. Moe though, has some of the best hands a drummer could ask for, playing off kilter beats that most cannot copy without endless time dedicated to practicing. Theyre both good.

Why are we comparing Protest the Hero and Slipknot? They're two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SOUNDS! And there's really only one "drummer" in Slipknot, and that's Joey. The rest just add percussion. But whatev. To each his own. I like both of them for different reasons.
