  • Can´t chinese people surf over a proxy, with an american ip adress?

  • What goes on in other countries is none of our business here in America. We have our own problems here in the U.S we need to mind our business this is why the international community hates us and this is the REAL reason we have terrorists. If you want to do a story why dont you take your camera down to the ghetto's of this country and record how there is virtually no police in an area well known for drugs and other criminal activity.

  • Its so sad. The Chinese government is sheltering its people from the world.

  • So what do they block on the internet:?

  • stupid chinese goverment

  • I'm in China , i think it's very stupid of ccp block such as google , youbute sites , since it's a very good window for Chinese people to see world wide , we Chinese are eager to understand others and want to learn more from others , this is very stupid , really ...

  • do something to fuck your government that has been fucking you since forever!

  • 中共集團經常杜撰謊言,

    欺騙國際社會

    封鎖YouTube欺騙中國人

    封锁消息愚民政策

  • God Bless America! that is all I have to say!

  • The chinese are always very good in building walls and be isolated. They build the great wall of china and now they building the great firewall of china. Somethings never change as you can see.

  • The communist people are going to come get you

    for that.

  • You can make better examples! Look up something in one browser, while looking up the same thing in a browser connected to a proxy server or through Tor.

  • Internet filtering coming soon to USA also

  • On a bank where i work some of the internet sites are blocked also, that is not in China. Google also has a filter or you think you see all the pages ?

Besides that google monitors & saves your every click.

  • 1. That's not the same idea. If the bank you work for went to your home and started filtering the sites you visit... that's a better comparison.

    2. Google's filters are optional.

    3. Google may have access to a lot of private data, but they also do a pretty good job of not abusing their power. They could do better, but think for being as powerful as they are, they're doing alright.

  • Yeah, that knitting is dangerous stuff!

Anyways, thanks for putting this up. I've never seen the internet blocks in action.

  • Thank you for this great video. You have shown something that most of us have only heard about but have never seen.

  • The Net scene in China is incredibly bad. The bandwidth allowed to access intl' sites is essentially broken. That's the best word I can come up with.

As for the filtering, it's a vain attempt to keep terrible western influences from tainting pure Chinese idealism?
