Living on the other side of the river from Quebec, I have never met a "Québequois" that is a soverenist. They are a minority in Quebec nowadays that would want to separate. I, for one, like the fact that thanks to them eastern Ontario remains in majority French. I might not like being called a "Québequoise" but surely, would not want them to separate.

How were you able to have slide showing up on your video while you talk. What did you use to do this. I love the approach about history as I myself am a history teacher. COOL! This is great!

I use Adobe Premier Elements to edit my videos. This program has layered audio/video and makes the Picture-In-Picture quite simple. Most video editing software has this feature. It also has chromakey (blue/green screen) like weather forecasters use which is kind of fun. I am currently trying to figure out Adobe After Effects to add a new level of production value to my vids but it's a pain to learn and I feel like a preschool kid in a 4th year calculus class.

Try looking at from the point of view from an entire nation that sees funds meant to supply a nation diverted to a province to keep belly-achers quiet. The War Measures Act enacted, suspending Civil Rights, in order to stop a group of terrorists. A governement brought down in shame because they denied their moral instincts to try a stop a wave of anti-Canadian sentiment?

The sovereignists cannot win this fight and yet continue to fuel their own egos, not their "people's" best interests.

(cont.) I love this country and Canada includes Quebec. I speak French and have travelled to the province many times. If I had to live outside of BC, Quebec is my first choice.

Also, do not forget the injury to Quebec's tourist economy done by their actions or that several sovereignists planned on taking part in the recreation.
