How can anyone NOT like Deadpool?! He's fucking awesome. Ryan Renolds will do a great job if this film goes ahead. He's said a million times if he's going to do it it's going to be true to the comics and have nothing to do with x men origins, which is the best thing he ever could have said.

Writers and artists always share creator status when making a comic character. Rob and Nicezia are considered the co-creators of Deadpool. I don't know why people are syaing that's not the case.

That being said Joe Kelly and Gail Simone's handling of him are the best versions. Cable and DP was an ok series but Cable isn't that interesting and when he's around DP isn't as fun either.

Rob Liefeld may have created Deadpool, but a creator is not always a codifier. Bob Kane's Batman killed without remorse and even used guns. Keith Giffen's Lobo wore orange tights and had purple hair. Rob Liefeld's Deadpool was just a ripoff of DC's Deathstroke The Terminator (right down to the real names) and only existed to be beaten up by Cable in a pissing contest over whose anti-hero is better. Fabian Nicieza, Mark Waid and Joe Kelly created Deadpool as we love him.
