  • Do you pick horse hooves when they're shod like that? Just wondering :o

  • @FlowingDepths Yes you do. You need to note special attention to cleaning right near where the shoe sits, to make sure any debris or stones can't get lodged under the shoe and hurt the horse.

  • In addition, I added White Lightening soaks!

  • She is very pretty

  • Thank you! This was really helpful!

  • Does anyone else thinks she is gorgeous?

  • Thank you a thousand thank you's. I have had this problem and have used Thrush Buster but this is a much better method. And the Neosporin tip is perfect. Thank you.!!!! I'll look forward to your t.v. show on RFDTV!! :)

  • The word is "regimen". Not "regiment".

  • I have used the exact method with the Thrushbuster that the lady depicted with very good results. My mare tends to get the same type of thrush in that exact area. After cleaning the crack and hoof well, I take gauze and run it between the crack like dental floss to really clean it, especially if the crack is deep. Then pack with gauze (stays in better for me than cotton) and saturate with TBuster. The pressure of the gauze also promotes the wound to heal from inside out.

  • @scherryann Thank you for this additional tip.
