Not sure you could do all this in real time, I guess you won't do any good if you play live with this instrument. A solution could be to record the patterns at home, save them, and then use them on stage. However, it would be nice to show the audience the loop-on-loop system, which you obviously can't do in real time with the SPD-S since you have to stop and save what you record. Am I right?
I have had one of these for less than 12 months, and one of the pads are already playing up. Every time I go into Patch edit, it keeps going back to pad 6. Also, sometimes it triggers, sometimes it wont.
I do not play this thing forcefully, and it gets used in the band 2-3 nights a week.
can you add a v drum kick and high hat to this.on the back it only has one trigger jack.i know you can on the spd-20 but i think roland stop making it

I should add that the SPDS is an awesome little device, and I have been extremely happy with it..despite this pad problem that has occurred.

Yes but you have to record to external sounds on to a new patch. hen you can play them back as he shows you on the video,
