  • This is absolute gold, what an awkward Google search.

  • stary dziadek liczy na coś wiecej : -p

  • no zajebiste to

  • but not that little...

  • i also enjoy little girls

  • I've seen the whole movie and I still think this number is a big bag of pedophilia.

  • @79Leesha he wants to see the little boys hold hands with the little girls? and know what they'll be getting up to when mother's not looking? that is the sound of one hand clapping (try that sometime. it takes... hours to master it. and then it's really funny. for years).

there are worse things he could wish for them. there are worse things he could do to them. look at all that money, and that power, and he wants to laugh and sing and be happy with them.

    why not?

  • Keep in mind that there's more to this film than this song. Different readings have interpreted to have this be a little more uncomfortable on purpose because just before the song and through the movie he's shown to be a character who gets around. And while his intentions here may be pure, it is not unusual for people to read in differently.

  • sung by none other than Mr Pedo ;)

  • I get the definite pedophile vibe

  • Wow is this Maurice Chevalier?

  • ya thank heaven for little girls til they grow up. then its a whole new ball game. then they are not so little girls anymore who do what grown girls do. and thats not always a good thing!!

  • OK if anyone mentions pedobear, I will kill them.

  • @PinguThe3rd have you ever taken the fingers of one hand and brought them repeatedly into swift contact with the hand? that is the sound of one hand clapping. sounds like... silence, silence, silence... now what is that? sounds like... teen spirit... FUNNY! you know that one's coming and it's still funny. after all these eons.

  • @PinguThe3rd I watched this at 11:30. I had nightmares about pedobear. BITE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @PinguThe3rd

    The National Anthem of Pedophiles

  • @jemmytaveras lol XD

  • @PinguThe3rd

I know. The context is lost on most listeners. There's one guy on YT that actually lip-synced (if you can call it that without being able to see his lips) to the record in a Pedobear costume, presumably as a cheap joke. Fortunately, he got one comment of "stupid." It's still up, but the song got taken down by the copyright hounds.

  • I think "gary glitter" should do a cover version of this for a laugh.

  • 69K VIEWS LOL

  • Terrible zeitgeist that shows in the comments here.

  • I'm 49 and this is my favorite song

  • heh heh pedo alert

  • the only reason I watched this was to see if everyone else was commenting about it with the same thoughts I had, re: pedophilia.

Yeah, this song's kinda creepy now.

  • This is the pedophile anthem.

  • at least its not about little boys with a catholic priest on the mic

  • This is Pedobear's favorite song.

  • Les hommes aiment petites filles verticales parce qu'ils savent que petites filles verticales deviennent bientôt petites filles horizontales.

  • @ jojodancergirl's You only think about your own interest. The man can have a very strong connection to his child, But if a woman wants to about it she can but if she wants to keep the kid and break up with the man she can do that too and make him pay for the kid for 18 years.....So Im guessing your happy cus its a no lose for the woman

  • My father would let each of his four daughters stand on his feet & dance around the living room to this song! :) Sure miss him!

  • Crash through the ceiling, talk about being hung, lawls!

  • This video has received the official Pedobear Seal of Approval.

  • Someone who loves women must love [= appreciate the existence of] little girls, too.

You do not hurt or in any way harm creatures you truly love and adore.

  • whatever it still a music for the pervs lmao!!

  • This song is 100% innocent and the world hates men today, They don't want us to be a part of children's life's they just want men to pay child support and then talk about us like were pigs.

Woman have killed Millions of babys by abortions why doesn't anyone attack them?

And dont say woman have abortion's because of men, Because like many things in this country A man has no say if the woman wants to kill his child?

So who really is worse to children Men or Women

  • @NewLawLV Okay, this is completely off topic, however I just want to clear something up. I am definitely not saying that I support abortion, but women should have more say in what happens because she is the one that has to carry the baby for nine months. She will also be the one that has to get up when it cries to nurse it back to sleep. In rare instances, the man may take on some of these roles, but it is just a fact or nature that a mother has more responsibilities in those early stages.

  • I suppose that the whole of the movie must be seen for this to be seen delightfully and innocently. How tragic that the world and people in it are so twisted and perverse that I must suggest the whole movie to enjoy this INNOCENT and healthy grandfatherly/fatherly song. So disappointing....

  • @Broblem12 What are you talking about? The movie "Gigi" is about training a young woman to become a courtesan! the whole move is about teaching a girls to exploit sexuality to make money. It's disturbing, really.

  • Wow a lot of the comments on this board suck. Gigi is a wonderful movie, and I really hate to see everyone getting all 21st century and up in arms over a character that was a wonderfully doting and sweet hearted old man. Shame on everyone that sees ickyness everywhere. FORSHAME! As if they would have made a big budget MUSICAL about a pedo.

  • super pedo song and video.

  • @tommylabelt ITS CALLED GROW THE FUCK UP OR DON'T LEAVE SHITTY COMMENTS!!! YOU AHOLE

  • @ikeeagles2014 Wow you're obviously a RED for wanting me to shut my fucking mouth and not make jokes. How about this, YOU grow the fuck up. It's called jokes and regardless if you like them or not, I have the freedom to make shitty jokes or funny jokes. Get a life.

  • @tommylabelt Really I don't care anymore I made that comment like 2 months ago.........

  • i love this song :)

  • I am the pedo-finder-general... and your all dirty little men! - i jest... nice to mock and to poke fun, pretty harmless i suppose, you know, i was once asked what i most wanted in life... and my reply was... A daughter! - I've never been a father, perhaps there's still time, but the innocent sentiments this song was trying to portray has been sullied by the rampant pedo-paranoia given to us by high-profile court cases, the media and TV-News etc, shame really...

  • I'd love to see Herbert from "Family Guy" do a mock-up of this song with little boys.....

  • Creepy song

  • sank heaven, for brittle pervs... :))

  • PEDO BEAR

  • chester.

  • The 1950s were seedy... we just didn't wish to admit it. Stepford wives? The true nature of domestic life during such a time can be rather brutal. I understand those who are of that time period will argue with me, but according to the history I know, the social aspects of the fifties involve gender- and racial- tensions. Playboy in fact came out during the fifties. The tensions merely came to a head in the sixties. Perhaps the fifties were great for some, but certainly not for all.

  • This is twisted;if put up to a bit more interpretation,it implies the process of little girls budding. I don't think one should be offended wih others finding this perverse; it's merely public opinion. In addition to its perversion the nature of the show in its entirety is sexual. Is this song related? Maybe not, but I wonder why it was dumped in this show.I don't see why this should be so appealing;perhaps my ideas come from a society reigned by lolitas and lipstick, but I still find it wrong.

  • @ducgrl

"a society reigned by lolitas and lipstick"

If you find men's current fascination with underage girls disturbing, you can blame 40 years of feminist social engineering which have denied biological gender behavioural norms.

This, and the explosion of sexual immorality and pornography are all "equalisation" phenomena in the context of socially-imposed gender dysfunction; as are women's "body image" disorders, increasing tendencies to self-harm and declining psychiatric health.

  • @Calenfeyn41 Riiight. You ignorant, culture-wars espousing, historical revisionist. If you are suggesting that pedophilia was somehow magicaly created within the last 40 years, you are as obscene as you are ignorant. Try looking back past your own self-serving narcissistic view of the past once in a while, you might learn something about what really happened in the whole of human history.

  • Toynbee, Jim Black and a wealth of psychometric studies - sorry, there is an empirical basis for these arguments, though they are not politically correct.

You're right to claim that the gender dysfunctional trends we are seeing now are not new from an historical perspective. They've happened before, and have always heralded a rapid cultural decline phase, accompanied by widespread immorality (particularly of a sexual nature), violent disobedience of children and sexual violence against women.

  • @Calenfeyn41 I was expressing an opinion. :) But I understand. I quite like Gigi. Sorry, I wasn't meaning to troll.

  • In 1958, many Americans were still thinking of the Paris, from World War I and World War II.

Today Maurice Chevalier is seen as a dirty old man; in 1958 he was seen as an innocent elder. The sexual mores of 1958 were closer to 1900, than 2011.

Gigi is set in 1900 Paris during "La Belle Epoch" the time between the humiliation of the French defeat in the Franco-Prussian War of 1870 and start of the horrors of World War I in 1914.

  • I like turtles.

  • If you watch even the first 15 minutes of this movie, you'll realize this guy actually IS a creeper... a dirty old man who considers himself a "collector" of pretty young things. Granted, he's talking more about 18 year olds than 8 year olds, but he definitely is a pervert, and there's no reason to give him ANY "grandfatherly" credit, no matter how "over-sexualized our society has become."

  • Did anyone remake a version that has pedobear in it?

  • What a lot of you people should realize that, people like me who watched this film at that time ,would not even have thought about child abuse, pedo's ,child porn, etc. It was a more innocent age and we were mostly unaware of such evils. You really cannot make objective comments about a film made 50 years ago.

  • Creee-peee.

  • The worst part about this song for me is that it was played on a children's radio station in my area every week. I felt unclean listening to it back then.

  • Dont call him a pedophile! Thats my grandfather you sick creeps!

  • LOL

  • haha

  • This song makes me roll over on the floor from laughter, after all these years, still does.

  • I wish people would take context into consideration when rushing to condemn something as dirty or "pedophilic." Not only is he only singing about the joy children bring to the world, but this and more would be clear if you took the time to watch or even read about the film. Gigi is a story about a gawky teenager growing up and becoming a confidant young woman, so contextually, this song makes sense, and is in no way sexual.

  • This is...I don't know what this is

  • sank heaven ... for honh honh honh!!!

  • I wonder if Chris Hansen's ever seen this...

  • I love this song and the way Chevalier sings it, but always laugh to myself thinking how pedophilic someone could take it. Lol.

I, of course, know he is only an older gentleman appreciating little girls and all of their delights.

  • He should have won an Oscar.

  • @who3697cares he did! he was awarded an honorary oscar for his life's work on film the same year gigi dominated the oscars.

  • i adore this song

  • "Vive la difference!"

  • @obeyThem: As I recall, Maurice Chevalier had this comment about 'women's lib": "Why do women want to become equal to men? Why should they come down to our level?"

    Vive la difference, indeed.

  • The only vibe I sense from the old man in this video is a fatherly affection towards little girls. It seems in this society if a man adores children people are quick to call him a predator, pervert or pedophile. It proves how over sexed our society has become.

I shouldn't have used the word delight earlier I should choose my words more carefully.

  • @breetherooster: People are, indeed, oversensitive - which shows something of the hypocrisy of our times. The times of this film were different - much more innocent than today.

Maurice Chevalier, in this part and in real life, DELIGHTED in little girls for what they are and DELIGHTED even more that they grow up to be women who can be enjoyed for what they are. Don't be ashamed to say DELIGHT. There is no better word you could pick.

  • @breetherooster its like a grandfather<3 i guess, they're adorable<3 what would little boys do without them<3 they're entertaining <3 lol

  • @breetherooster ; what the hell are you talking about this is a musical, i dont want to read about your paranoid crap about old culture in todays society, you have no idea. leave your dumb comments out of wholesomeness!

  • @breetherooster you are right, but it is still funny how you can misunderstand this song xD

  • @breetherooster I KNOW RIGHT PEOPLE NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!! ALL THESE FUCKING AHOLES AROUND HERE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT NOT EVERYONE IS A PEDOPHILE LIKE THEM. :D

  • @breetherooster

Dead on, except it's not society being over sexed it's society being undersexed relative to it's depiction. The answer isn't some puritanical suppression, attempting to halt it's depiction, that will just make the problem worse.

Everything about sexual release except getting married is stigmatized, it's completely taboo to openly talk about it yet it's used in virtually every piece of media and is the obvious motivation for all young men to excel.

    We need a new perspective.

  • @breetherooster Yeah I agree with you! our generation is so consumed with stereotypes!

  • I like this song.

  • So many idiotic comments...

  • I relate ... thank heaven ... just how i feel about my own daughters. So much fun to watch grow up. They are the greatest joy in my life ... you will never know until you have one.

  • @robhoski I have a son, two daughters, and a grand daughter. That's fine if you feel that way about your own children or even grandchildren. But an old man sitting in a park by himself surrounded by a bunch of pre-preteens seems a little pervish. Whoever posted this, that may have been the effect they were going for.

  • @ranhill I disagree. I think people allow themselves to suspect the worst in others because the values/morals of society have been steadily declining. We see it in the news everyday, someone does something despicable to another person (or worse to a child) and then all of humanity is vilified. If you can't look at a man enjoying the beauty and innocence of a child without assuming he's a pervert, then you may have your own issues to sort out. This was simple tribute, not a perversion.

  • @Hollywood4Fun Yeah, that's right, go on and attack me personally . But too bad for you, I don't have any issues to deal with as it relates to watching this clip AS IT IS PRESENTED HERE. If someone sees this clip as it is here, and knows nothing else about it, it is, as one poster put it, creepy. But you know what? I don't know whats worse, the clip, or you trying to defend it? I have decided: You trying to defend it is worse. Stop trying to put lipstick on this pig.

  • @ranhill I can't help it if you have weird thoughts.

  • @ranhill

    Oh, just stupid.

Have you watched the movie GiGi?

  • @aveyowyns Yes I have seen the movie. If you go back and read all my comments, you will see I said for someone to view this clip, as is, with no knowledge of the movie, might find this a little creepy.

  • This is my grandpa you sicko's!

  • This. It doesn't sound like the f-word at all! AT ALL. Geeze. XP

  • magic!!! :) thanks VideoInteresan!!!!!!

  • so mean.....dont judge his accent, yo.
