I have seen people try to debate with New Age womens 'empowerment' groups, New Age 'futurist' depopulation groups groups etc and it is always the same. In fact vis a vis the New Age disconnecting people from what they need, there is always a subconscious disparaging rhetoric against health (be it by esoteric or exoteric methods) in these cults, which is why NA'ers usually look like unhealthy inflated lizards with the vacated reptilian stare. I am quite 'Christian' when it comes to these Theosophy cults. Why? Some Christians have called the New Age 'spiritual aids' (usually referring to everything non-JC). While this is strong, the sentiment is correct, the New Age vastly lowers your mental, emotional and spiritual defences. You will often see a 'death rhetoric' being 'programmed' into the mental/astral bodies by New Age leaders; 'the Samurai were ready to die with serenity' (mirroring Baileys 'dying with grace'). This is not Tibeten Book of Dead (an odd book) stuff, it is wacko Theosophy

What New Agers are unaware of is how Theosophy grooms its 'front men' vary carefully (Leadbeater and Krishnamurti being an obvious example) often choosing people of some charisma and 'awakening' for their dirty work, this is like playing Mozart and the speeches of the Third Reich simultaneously. Look behind the front man and you see; depopulation, hand over your kiddies, disarmament. The first person offered up to Moloch or atop the famed ziggurat would be the NA'er if Theosophy gets its way.

What you notice in New Age cults is a very instant conversion of these already quite unbalanced people into a very fervent, 'divine plan', 'revival of fire' frame of mind. I have seen people become overnight mind waste after various initiations which Bailey et Al call 'energy activation' 'great overshadowing', 'evolution into New Humanity', tapping the 'Shamballa Force' etc. Those in the know understand this as opening the energetic body to possession/guidance from 'Masters of Wisdom' (demons).

Many are decent folk, none have looked into the background of what they do, which is Theosophy.
