  • This so nasty... but I love it !

  • I'm fairly sure this was intended to come before "In The Flesh". Lyrically, it doesn't really fit, but the shouting and crowd noises do.

  • Fuck all that!

  • what awesome lyrics! "maybe not the russian bear...". brilliant -cleveland, OH

  • 4:07 I think he says "se parakalo, pou einai to bar" !

"please, where's the bar" in greek! :)

  • @DespinaSt9

Yeah, its supposed to be an English Soldier asking in differet languages where the bar isntill he gets fed up with it "OI WHERES THE FUCKING BAR"

  • No one solos like that. Not even Clapton, Beck - NO ONE.

  • Make em laugh make em cry - FUCK ALL THAT! Great Band, Great album, a masterpiece if ever....

  • why is there a commercial? isnt it ileagal to make money off of something that isnt yours.....well either way good song...

  • i don't have words for the pink floyd song!eccellent!

  • Richard wright was missing in that album :(

  • @darrennovo98 In The Wall, Rick didn't compose nothing, and the result was a magnificent album. I just imagine how wonderful it would be with him!

  • @rockifythis Yes, He doesn't compose nothin, But he don't played neither in any song!

  • the wiley japanese lol love it

  • S'cusi dove il bar?

  • Always loved it since it came out....

  • Fuck all that

  • This is some heavy shit!

  • One of Gilmours best solo's ever so fuck all that.

  • "Come at the end of the shift, we'll go and get pissed!"

Now, I can identify with that!

This is a song that speaks Roger's sentiments, but I don't think it could have been done so masterfully without David's punchy and solid voice. Gilmour is not just a guitarist, he is an excellent singer. Waters is not just an outstanding bassist, he is a masterful composer and lyricist. Well, you see, that's why they were so great together!

  • @gracelier

I think Roger was expressing the media/government's capability of manipulating the working-class/middle-class. They say "Fuck all that" to get support through maddening ignorance behind their corruption and wars and cry "Hollywood waits at the end of the rainbow". The expression 'rainbow' represents something mythical-like and when you get to the end, it's gone.

    That's just my interpretation :)

  • @Gold753 Yes, Gold, I believe you got the same message as I did. America is inextricably linked with Great Britain, we always will be. But I believe in righteous defiance of power, particularly government. Roger has never held back his feelings in his writings, and neither has David, they just have different styles. Roger is the firebrand, David, the compassionate observer. A one-two punch off raw dissention! This track kicks butt!

  • GOTTA GET ON!!!!

  • chilling fucking song. love it

  • It's wily Japanese, not whiny.

I think at 3:00 he's saying 'but we don't read books' or 'we don't need books' but I can't be sure.

  • It's wily Japanese, not whiny.

  • Who could have disliked this song. It has everything.

  • 0:30 sounds almost like the Pokémon Rap xD Great song, love the solos.

  • what is Roger saying from 3:00 to 3:05 ???

  • @Coopersboy7 I've always wondered that myself. I'm about to load the track on to my computer, load it up in Pro Tools and reverse it (play it backwards). I'll let you know if it's anything interesting... though I doubt it will be. I think it's just a weird sound.

  • @futilerecordings Hey thats a good idea...let me know if you figure something out!

  • @Coopersboy7 No, it's nothing. Just sounds like he's making weird sounds with his mouth. Reversed it sounds the same, just backwards.

  • @futilerecordings lol well thats ole Roger for ya! he was always good at making creepy sounds haha

  • This song is awesome when you are pissed off. FUCK ALL THAT!

  • @grevejp44 This song is awesome ANY TIME!!!

  • hillarious lyric, fuck all that ,got to get on with these, gotta compete with those whiny japanese. love it, love the floyd.

  • @THEnyyguy Love my PF, you just don't see music like this anymore

  • all good >good for shagingb to xx

  • check out the music video to this song! /watch?v=d0UByR4v9AE

  • PUNK FLOYD!!!!!!

  • The final cut,9996665

  • The final cut, 9996667

  • "Volume increased 20%"

not nearly enough, but a good start.

An almost 30-year-old song that still has relevance... Does Society really change? I'm beginning to think not. Kids just get stupider. 'Course, when I was a kid, adults thought I was stupid...

Thumbs up if your one of those "lost" Gen-Xers...

  • @tehbonehead imo he didn't need to increase the volume at all. It should've stayed the way the uploader originally had it.

  • @tehbonehead I strongly agree, even though I'm a kid currently.

  • @tehbonehead And I'll add, for those not in the know, "Generation X" refers to all those born between 1965-1982. Second-year Generation-Xer shouting out.

  • I love to stir up shit amongst the guilty fucks!

They always crawl out from beneath their rocks!

grimshaid, and Machiavelli (you two deluded fucking morons) exhibits A & B!!!

I chew up punks like you and shit them out every a.m.!!!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • Shh! Down in front!

  • Oi, where's the fucking bar John?

    Brilliant.

  • "We showed argentina" no entendi

  • I think it's one of the best on this album!

  • vamos al teatro a danzar y a crear música como hermanos o donde?

  • One, two, FREE, FOUR!

  • I'd love to have been there to see the faces of the chorus when they read the lyrics for the first time.

  • 2:59 what the hell he said in this part?

  • fucking hell... i don't know what you lot are on but i'll just av half pmsl, and its my floyd not yours lol

  • 4:07 ΣΕ ΠΑΡΑΚΑΛΩ ΠΟΥ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΤΟ ΜΠΑΡ???

  • @trypiakaltsa

    αχαχαχαχα

    γαμησε

  • Subterfuge indeed. America and Europe better wake up to Chinese subterfuge. Fuck all that.

  • @drgonzo767 that is why these countries own us.

No one seems to grasp the gravity of that statement.

    Christ,

    FrankC32

  • So fuck all that

We have got to get on with these

  • Σε παρακαλώ που είναι το bar??? 4.08

  • @frankc32

You really know how to show off your stupidity and make us Americans look bad at the same time. Sorry to those who have to have to deal with these kinds of people from my country, it's embarrassing! And this song isn't dissing on the Japanese, but showing most people's troubling attitudes towards other people, such as frankc32's.

  • @KiliFili13, was this some ill-framed insult at me? Some ignorant, childish swipe?

If so, please, punk, gather your little video-game friends and come at me with something a little better than your typical weak shit!

    Puh-lease.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • the ignorant Chinese and Japanese with their whaling fleets that rape the oceans on a daily basis, those savages are not much more advanced than Cro-Magnon Man.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32

The Chinese don't whale, and consumption of whale meat (though by no means a daily thing; in fact, many Japanese have never eaten whale-meat) has been a part of Japanese culture since the centuries-long prohibition on consuming red meat. So who's ignorant?

And what does this song even have to do with whaling?

  • @WiggaMachiavelli, bullshit.

China and Japan and their dug-in no-debate bullshit cultures, flagrantly violate every international truce re; endangered sea species as well as zoo's and other exploitation of animals.

Who the FUCK are you listening to, child?

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32

China actively opposes Japan's whaling activities.

Cultural conservatism is not unique to China and Japan, and it certainly isn't the rule in either of them. Look at all the nationalists in Europe, the fact that there was opposition to the prohibition of bullfighting in spain, the cockfighting and dogfighting all over the world, the Christian Fundamentalists in the U.S.A., and radical Islamists. A lot of these groups cling to things that aren't even culturally significant.

  • @frankc32

Now I wonder, have you ever been to Japan? China certainly is behind the pack when it comes to zoos and animal rights in general, but then, so are the vast majority of countries outside the first-world - it's China's global prominence that makes people take notice. Japan? Ever been to a Japanese zoo? Ever even been to Japan? No animal abuse, beyond the idiots you get everywhere, and even then, perhaps less.

    International truce? National sovereignty.

  • @frankc32

How are you going to force an international treaty on a nation that does not want to sign it, and is not harming any other nations by their actions? That's preposterous.

And that's all over-looking the fact that Japan's whaling is legal, since they only take whales to fill their research quota - the meat is sold because wasting it is not allowed. Even if it's for the purpose of meat under the guise of research, that does not change its legal status.

  • @frankc32

And as a matter of fact, the only shadow of a doubt regarding the legality of Japan's whaling operations comes from Australian claims on some areas of the ocean - claims that are not internationally recognised. As an Australian citizen, I can admit that this is petty antagonism and not proper diplomacy.

And all that is still overlooking the cultural justifications for whale meat's presence on the Japanese markets - I already explained this one.

  • @frankc32

Besides, Japan's whaling operations are perfectly sustainable. They primarily take Minke whales, which are not at all endangered, and in fact, because of human action, are so common that they are threatening other species. So as long as the whaling is sustainable, what's the problem?

You're using propaganda, false information, self-deception and bare-faced lies as a platform for racism against the Chinese and Japanese. That's obvious.

And this song has NOTHING to do with whaling.

  • @WiggaMachiavelli, total octogenerian bullshit that has been force-fed down your backwards culture for the past century, likely longer.

Your countries are demons versus teh environment due to simple greed.

    No bullshit excuses accepted.

Geeez, the Japanese and Chinese are both known for their subterfuge. (break out your dictionaries, dumb-asses)

    But Floyd/Waters breaks it right-the-fuck-down!!!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32

The "Australian" culture? What are you talking about? Are you even reading my comments?

Actually, I can already perfectly explain your viewpoint. You're a racist, probably believe in the Illuminati, have been brain-washed by Sea Shepherd or similar types, and are too blasted thick to understand what this song is actually about.

You're a waste of space, a waste of human life, and a waste of my time.

    Cheers!

  • @WiggaMachiavelli, convenient, 100%-lacking-in-coherence/knowledge, response from the likes of you.

I am similarly disinterested in wasting my time and thought on a mindless pissant such as yourself.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @WiggaMachiavelli, the "Asian Culture"?

That would be the savage ignorant Asians who rape the wildlife of their continents, and chalk it up to "therapeutic" "healing" properties of body parts from endangered animals.

Chinese and Japanese apologists are FULL OF SHIT.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32

Every response you make further betrays you for the nutcase, the stereotyper, the bigot, and the crank that you are.

  • @WiggaMachiavelli,

I have lived there, seen it, you can tell yourself whatever you need to to sleep at night, I remember nothing bur the suffering of those poor innocent animals, rounded up at night like criminals.

I hope you're fucking proud of that.

No BS excuses, despite your rhetoric, China and Japan are fucking backwards anti-environment countries.

How fucking stupid are you? Do you doubt anything I say?

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32

Clearly I'm not stupid at all because I don't just doubt, but know for lies, almost everything you've said.

And this song STILL has NOTHING to do with whaling.

  • @frankc32 This album wasn't directed toward environmental concerns, however. As I mentioned on one of the versions of The Gunner's Dream, this was a protest against the British invasion of the Falklands Islands in the early 80's as well as a commentary upon the economic war brewing between the Western nations and Japan in the 80's, pointing out the dubious importance of many of the things our governments focused upon during that era.

  • @grimshaid, I respect your interprertation.

Having said that, no one will ever explain Pink Floyd lyrics to me, my friend.

I will blow your fucking mind with the Floyd Facts, do not waste your time unless you want a motherfucking education.

    Cheers!

  • @frankc32 England's post-war dream after WWII was to avoid entanglement in future wars, and Waters saw the invasion of the Falklands in the early 80's as a betrayal of that. There wasn't a lot to do with whales, you fucking moron. It was a very politically oriented album.

  • @frankc32 You're obviously not only unable to read, but severely limited in comprehension as well. I made no denials concerning Thatcher or Reagan, merely that this album was not environmentally directed. If you'll learn to read, perhaps you'll understand a little better what us big kids are talking about instead of sitting in your little corner lashing out at the world. Interpretation or not, this album was dedicated to Roger Water's father, Eric Fletcher Waters, who died in WWII.

  • @grimshaid, what up, shit-for-brains?

Answer me, you piece of shit, or shut the fuck up and die!

There is no "in-between" for a big-mouth punk like you.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32 You need to get back on your meds. The dementia is starting to show. In other news, these are the last few seconds I'll waste on your trolling

  • @grimshaid, my fucking meds are a mockery of your intellect.

You are a human piece of shit, adn I piss on you, proudly!

    Drink my piss, you punk!

    FrankC32

  • @grimshaid he fell at Anzio in Italy

  • @frankc32

I already know the meaning of the word, my dear.

I can't recall having made any spelling errors, but if perhaps by some error in typing I've done so, please point it out to me.

I'd rather not discuss things with you if you're going to be vulgar. Move yourself back to civility (well, not "back" to, since you were rude and preposterous from the start) and reality, and then perhaps we can have a reasonable exchange of thoughts - though I'm sure you're more interested in insults.

  • @WiggaMachiavelli,

    grimshaid, what up, shit-for-brains?

Answer me, you piece of shit, or shut the fuck up and die!

There is no "in-between" for a big-mouth punk like you.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • "Not Now John" was released as a single on 3 May 1983. The words "fuck all that", which comprised the opening line of the song and were repeated several times in later verses, were overdubbed as "stuff all that" by Gilmour and the female backing singers.

  • I dont see/hear it benbastiani93.....sounds ok to me..

  • You can tell David feels uncomfortable singing the lyrics, like at 1:27 ish :/

  • @benbastiani93 it's Roger singing

  • @jschofield19 Most of the main parts are sung by Gilmour

  • Goddamn whiny japs

  • @BobDoleNSatanRmyniGz, my grandfathers fought these zipperhead motherfuckers in the air, aerials, but real, honest aerial airfights, fucking killed-or-be-killed!!!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32 he had every reason to call 'em zipperheads 'cos they were the enemy back then. No cause for you to call them that now.

  • @TheBass2themax, you raise an awesome and serious point, and I tip my cap to you as a result.

Bottom line, I will NEVER buy a Japanese car, and I will take every conceivable consideration before I suport those savages from the Far East.

Call them what you want, they flaunt international environmental law at every turn, and their absurd bullshit assertions about body parts is so sad it would be funny if it was not so tragic.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32 right and here in the US we're great to the environment, right? I'm pretty sure their "absurd bullshit assertions about body parts" still doesn't give anyone call to describe an entire culture as "zipperheads"... don'tcha think? I'd suggest you not try to defend bigotry - it's never defensible. Maybe your grandads had cause, again, because all is fair in war, but, nowadays, they're just people dude... like you and me and your grandfathers. PEACE

  • @TheBass2themax , thx for cutting my dumb ass some slack.

    Point taken.

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @frankc32 it's all good dude

  • @TheBass2themax , honestly, dude, I take this anonymous bull-shit freedom-of-expression way too seriously. The Floyd is mine to protect from misrepresentation...

    Thanks for understanding!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • There's something about a gospel choir singing "Fuck all that" that is inexplicably hilarious to me.

  • @MEYERS3000, Hollywood waits at the end of the rainbow!

    Cheers!

    FrankC32

  • @MEYERS3000 I 100% agree lol.

  • que tema tan bacano

  • I love Pink Floyd as much as the next guy, but does anyone else think that he sounds like Lightman from "Lie To Me" at the end of the song?

  • @TheOfficialRoseEmran, Would you care to explain.?, Who is Lightman ? What is Lie To Me?

  • @TheOfficialRoseEmran you mean Ted the bellboy from "Four Rooms"? hmm... kind of but not really

  • @Qman132 Yea, dude. I dunno, he sorta sounds like it xD

  • @TheOfficialRoseEmran Oh, you mean Tim Roth? He sort of does, now that you mention it.

  • @3:00

  • Hell Yeah! Floyd knows rock best

  • "i used to read books but"... is that weird noise gilmour?

  • @GeekF8 or waters?

  • gilmour met 2pac before singing this one

  • Bingo!

  • Sorry, shitty day, great pissy song!

  • lol at 4:18 "OY, WHERE'S THA FUCKIN' BAH"

  • FUCK ALL THAT

  • I woke up in the middle of the night with the FM radio on...

and thought to myself... is the chorus REALLY singing "Fuck All That"?

They were. It was the '80s, and I don't think we had gotten over the word "bullshit" in their "Money" song yet!

    It was very cool, anyway.

God bless the radio stations that played it!

  • @wdchefdave56 yea man I remember wakin up back then and the DJ was playin the full version of "The End" by the Doors, just cuz he could

  • This album basicly contains leftovers from the wall. Due to time restraints on album continuity (The Wall) the Final Cut was born. Roger loved it, David hated it. And this was the 'final cut' that severed the band as a whole. Pink Floyd will never be what they once were, too much water under the bridge not to mention the loss of Syd Barret and Richard wright................. R.I.P.

  • Can't stop Lose job Mind gone Silicon Stockholm What bomb? Get away Pay day Make hay Break down Need fix Big six Click click Hold on Oh no Bingo!
  • LOL! There's no-one can do lists like Waters.

  • Where's the FUCKING BAR JOHN!?

  • @SpliffordDubois i think its wheres the fucking war john

  • @lythgoed on the lp's original lyric sheet it says "where's the fuck|ng bar john!"

  • the final fuck

  • @Bergamoguitar Man for some reason I burst out laughing when I saw this lol

  • I like the part where he says "Fuck".

  • Oi wheres the fucking bar john!

  • Fuck all haters. Final Cut is far from perfect but not far from masterpiece!

  • fuck all that!!!!!!!!!!

  • "Fuck all that" love it!

  • fuck you, fuck this song, fuck all that

  • Great song from a very underrated album. It is more like a Waters solo album, true. But it's still awesome.

  • Did I just hear the F bomb at the beginning when he said F it all?

  • @bucky468 do you mean fuck?

  • @NoelznLiam Yes. That would be the F bomb I'm mentioning.

  • @bucky468

    Fuck

  • Did I just hear the f bomb at the beginning when he said f it all?

  • My names John and my dad randomly started playing this for me today.

  • @Freakof5FDP yes but how sure are you that he played it RANDOMLY?

  • lets go to the end of the ship and get pissed john

  • DAMM! such an overunderrated song!! This should be played all day in radios!!!

    Epic theme!

  • Hang on John I've got to "press the like" on this.

  • Will never have enough of my personal lyrical genius Roger Waters...He and I are on the exact opposite side of the American political spectrum...but that doesn't take away one bit of my respect, appreciation and love for all of his work!

  • i am not to interested in the wall as i am in wish you where here but all pink floyds music lives outside of time. they are dateless. even final cut has its timeless moments. to call pink floyd a 90s or 80s or 7s bands makes that listener a closed eyed narrow visioned listerner of late 90s boy band pop

  • @tjrtherocksponge Then what are you on about, saying the other albums didn't hold up musically.

  • @tjrtherocksponge You really think Dark Side and The Wall are musically dated?

  • This album overall is pretty bad but there are a couple great songs like this one on it.

  • @VogtTD best album ... hugely underrated ... dsotm - wall - wywh ... all incredibly overrated

  • @gamerzndplayerz dude theres a reason why those albums are somewhat overrated. cause theyre masterpieces

  • @arya2005 compared to their underrated work ... no theyre not

  • @gamerzndplayerz i guess. but i mean like obscured by clouds is super underrated and i think i should have been credited as well as dsotm, but albums like ummagamma.... iunno lol

  • @arya2005 i know what you mean - all i'm saying is that dsotm is just sooo mainstream in the sence that every1 recognises the album cover ... and in all honesty its not as good as some of thier underrated work such as on the final cut.

  • @gamerzndplayerz I agree completely. Even when I was a major Floyd head, I always found Dark Side a bit overrated. Most of the album centers around that one musical theme, that melody that runs through Breathe, Time, Great Gig. And Money is probably one of the most overplayed rock songs ever. I would rate their top albums as Animals, The Wall, this one, Wish You Were Here, maybe Dark Side coming in somewhere after that.

  • @MckyMseNTarotCrds And I agree with both of you. My top three Floyd albums have always been Final Cut, The Wall, Animals, and WYWH is a close fourth.

  • @gamerzndplayerz This is the best album? That's pretty laughable. It's made up partly of rejects from The Wall. And The Wall and DSOTM are hardly overrated. Go ahead and listen to them sometime without thinking about the hype surrounding them. Don't let that turn you off to the music. The Wall works best when you watch the movie. DSOTM is hauntingly beautiful.

  • ooo

  • One of the greatest Floyd albums... awful album!

  • @kostasxrysogelos ... Probably the best of their albums. The moon sucked...

  • @TickTockTimers I'm not a big fan of the moon either. Never quite understood what was the buzz all about.

  • @kostasxrysogelos It's an album about life, and everything in between (except Any Colour You Like, that's a filler)

  • @TickTockTimers Dark Side of the Moon sucks? Whatever you're smoking, I want some

  • @cford1992 Why the fuck would you want to smoke something that makes you believe DSOTM sucks??

  • the music video is actually pretty cool, but i cant stand the 'stop all that'

takes out a lot of the coolness of thi
