Is there a version with ONLY Jerry on vocals? This is one of my favorite recordings, but I would like to hear the difference without Pigpen.

fillmore, way too together for acid test, that's pig, you can tell by the way he's says love

Pigpen is singing lead, Jerry is harmony. all thru the fillmore acid test jerry and pig's microphones were sporadically not working. that is why you hear only Jerry. The complete film of "the acid test" is on youtube. search "merry Pranksters Acid test."

The main singer that you hear IS Jerry Garcia, indeed Pigpen is singing here but he's singing backup, I mean just listen to the dominating voice it's obviously Garcia's voice.

This is an old Coasters song from 1957 with Poison Ivy on the flip - again covered by many people. Pigpen used to sing this originally because he was the R & B fan.

@saladstassio I was wrong about Weir as I recall Jerry & Pig sang this one toghether. That is for sure Garcia doing more than what ever harmony I'm A Hog For You Baby has but eithr way it's fun to listen to. Don't think I'm...wrong...about that.
