This is probably my second favourite silent hill. It still uses spooky camera angles and all that, I can see why people are so attached to the first one though, this one wasn't originally going to be a silent hill game so that could be why... Apart from 1 & 2, this is the creepiest for me - but it's a close call...

The handprints relate to how many of the 21 Sacraments victims have been killed. At the start of the game, 16 handprints are there, when 16 people have been killed by Walter. As the game progresses and you see more someone that has been killed, take a peep out of your pepphole and you should see a handprint appear. Good little extra I think. =D

Hey, I adored Silent Hill 2 & 3, but this game is a snore fest. It's much slower. The controls and camera angles border on aggravating and it's not even remotely scary although the double headed baby thing made me jump when it pointed at me like "you; GUILTY!" Other than that, I'm all calmly playing this game on, "yeah, die bitch" mode instead of jumping and screaming and frantically trying to kill monster. It's a let down.
