Is this a mixture of two colors and what is a copper booster? I ask because we share the same skin tone and hair color but I have been getting mine done in a salon and I am now looking to cut expenses. So could you help a sister out with a little more detail.? So if your hair is naturally curly, you must have straightened it before this tutorial even started... any tips on that sequence? I always find my hair doesn't hold a curl well if I've straightened it first. But when I use a curling iron on my naturally curly hair, the roots usually end up frizzing a bit and creating a lot of flyaways. :-/

@malenabelle My hair does the same thing. I can't let it dry naturally and then curl it with an iron. It makes my hair look super frizzy and uneven on top. I think the trick is to do it on hair that you've straightened the day before. Also, my curling iron is extremely hot so it holds the curl longer. Sometimes I'll even spray right after I've curled each piece to ensure it stays in as long as possible.

I loved this look so much.

I have super heavy/thick hair so chances are my curl/wave would only last for three hours or so.

This will be great though for date night so I don't have to stress it for the day.

Thank you! My hair is extremely heavy and thick as well. The trick is to hod the curling in longer so that it creates a tighter curl. That way, over the course of the night when your hair starts to settle it will still maintain a soft wave.

I almost never wear my natural curl. It's gotten too long now. It looked nicer when my hair was short so it didn't weigh down the curls. To be honest, when I do wear it curly I just put in some Schwarzkopf mousse and let it air dry.

Thank you so much. You're too lovely. I think women had a lot more time to sit and pamper themselves back in the day - if they were privileged, of course. I can't even imagine how long it would take getting into a corset and various skirts, as well as styling my hair in a complex up-do and  then doing my makeup. I think that's why those eras are perceived as so glamorous. It almost seems theatrical.
