These announcers are ridiculous. It was clearly a dirty hit from behind. You can't fault Neal, Tyutin turned and there wasn't much he could do, but it was still a dirty hit, and Brassard had balls to go in against someone that was clearly tougher than him just to stick up for a cheapshot on a teammate. Also, props to Neal for stopping once Brassard was hurt. Good sportsmanship there, he could have done a lot more damage than he did if he was a dick.

brassard seperated his right shoulder when he went to tie up with neal, he was fucked from the start cuz he had the shirt with his left so he couldnt throw anything but a jersey jab.. gotta give him credit for stickin up for a teammate even if he didnt get blow his shoulder out he probably wouldve gotten pounded but for a rookie on a young club to step up that way does a lot within the lockerroom

If you look at a case by case review of Neal's goals this year, a large chunk (I would say 5/13 at this point) are opportunities of his aggressive forecheck. If Neal was taking boarding minors every week, people would have a right to stand up and complain, but he is consistently delivering clean hits, and creating offensive opportunities by doing so.
