Sims 2 - how to install Edward and Bella characters from Twilight

Oh gosh, I love u sooo much RockStarSoul :)) I didn't install Edward and Bella but I did it to some sims that i have downloaded. At first I didn't know what to do with the .sims2pack files ==" But now I know, pretty simple hehhee. Thank you, and I love you again ^^

@katiesueburkman Hi, I think what you're asking is if these characters can be loaded into the game with just the basic game of Sims 2 without any expansions needed. Its my understanding that no expansions are needed for these characters to work in Sims 2. Good luck!

@princessdilan1 I believe the site modthesims.info is basically a Sims 3 site now. Surely there's Twilight stuff there for it. But I don't have Sims 3 so idk the procedure to install mods into the game. Surely the site has some info in the help section. Good luck.

Hey I just tried it! And it worked! Thanks so much, because I have been looking for instructions like these--EASY TO FOLLOW and fully-explaining instructions, for ages. I am a bit miffed that I had to start with a whole different house, though, but that's ok!

@AnnaBabeForevs18 I'm very happy that my video helped you! Making it easy is what its all about. I'm glad you can install add-on characters to Sims 2 now,. My GF says that you can also install add-on houses too, and that you can move Edward and Bella into one of them. They don't have to remain in one house forever.

@GaiaGirl82 I"m glad it worked for you. There's many many models of Edward/Bella for Sims2 out there. Some look more realistic than others.  So now that you know how to install new models, you can search for different ones. Maybe you'll find a pair that you like. Good luck!

@LaCeNiful oh hey! Sorry for not responding sooner. It depends on what operating system your computer uses. I assume you use Windows. Is it a 32 bit version or a 64 bit version? If its 32 bit, download "WinRAR x86 (32 bit) 3.93". If its 64 bit, download "WinRAR x64 (64 bit) 3.93". However, I think the 64 bit operating system is backwards compatible with 32 bit software, so 32 bit is probably your best bet. Winrar is trial software, but it should work perfectly fine. You have to create an account on the site. Its free and quick. The download section says "Downloads are not available to guests. Please login to download."

It didn't mess up my game, or anyone's game that I know of. Just follow the instructions carefully and you shouldn't have any problems.

do you really need winrar to download stuff for the sims 2?

Often, the files will be compressed in the zip format, or the rar format. Winrar will uncompress both types of files so that you can use them. They're compressed for storage on servers and to minimize download bandwidth. But they're unusable as Sims stuff until they're uncompressed.

The site modthesims2 now includes Sims 3 mods. I don't have Sims 3 though, so I don't know how to go about modding it. Though I'm sure all the information needed is there. Good luck.

Yes you can. Go to the web site modthesims (link in the sidebar here) and from the menu at the top, go to

Downloads -> Sims 2 -> All -> Sims -> Celebrities & Real People

And you'll find every celebrity there is, including Miley.

Yes, the latest version is usually the best. I'm assuming you mean the latest version of Sims2pack clean installer. So, yes.

There's a link in the sidebar for sims2pack. Click "more info" to see all the links. Once you've clicked the link, click the "downloads" link on the page. On the downloads page, you'll see the words "Latest version 1.5.1.4". Right beneath those words, you'll see "Download from ModTheSims2". Its a link. Click it.  Clicking on it will download the file "Sims2PackInstaller_v1514.exe"­. Once its downloaded, double click on it and it should be a quick and simple install. Good luck!

Its easy, no video needed. Click on the link in the sidebar for it, to open its page. D/L the file "Sims2PackInstaller_v1514.exe" by clicking on the words "Download from ModTheSims2". You may want to save it to your desktop so you can find it easily.

After its downloaded, double click on it and the install should be quick and easy. After its installed, no need to run it. Just double click on a "Sims2Pack" file and it should run on its own. If you need more help let me know. Good luck!

If the unpacked file is the type "Sims 2 Installabe Package" (Windows Explorer should tell you this) and / or has the file extension ".Sims2Pack" then you can unpack it to any temporary folder. When you double click on that file, Sims2Pack Clean Installer should open and install will be a couple of clicks away.
