this truck has no electrical upgrades, all stock. with low end systems you should not have to worry about upgrading electrical but with this kind, i'd strongly recomend updrading becasue a huge amp will suck lots of voltage from your battery and stock electrical will not be able to keep up with the stress, and it will cause your lights to dim, and eventually kill your battery. idno about skipping cd's i doubt low voltage would make that happen
