"Irma Vep" is a unique, clever, & very interesting film (if you're not put off by it's bizarre, "Persona"-esque touches). Maggie Cheung is wonderful in it, and it incisively satirizes the French film industry & how people respond to celebrities.

@aghaanantyab HK movies in the 80s and 90s are shot with no live audio recording and all audio including dialog are dub later in the studio and a lot of time they are not dub by the actors themselves. So the chances are her voice you hear in Happy Ghost 3 is not her voice at all.

I love Maggie since i saw In The Mood For Love..
I've watched many movies of her and i think her beauty come out in Irma Vep much more than in all other films..
I like to know she was just interpreting herself!!!
