The truth, the only reason why this movie was rejected so much was because she made this pretty much right after Saved By the Bell ended and people didn't like seeing her play that part after playing the hard core liberal toward the environment and coservative toward woman's rights and how they should be. Like how a lot of people didn't like Training Day seeing Denzel play a bad guy.
