I love and respect Godfrey's comedy but I feel like when a comedian completely loses their cool the heckler wins in a way. The first minute is perfect because he deals with the heckler with jokes, then his whole act derails when he probably could have saved it. Still, I'm sure it's INSANE to be in his situation with that shit.
I understand he's mad but IMO he handled it wrong. U deal with a heckler by shutting them up with comedy and makin em feel stupid, not cursing and getting out of character while your audience who paid have to wait for you to finish

Well at that point he was still trying to be nice and was telling them to leave the show (which was in a BASEMENT). At that point, he was NOT trying to be funny, he was trying to get those people out of the show. Those assholes ruined the show for everybody else because they thought their voice was more important that those trying to enjoy the show.

Good man. That's how you deal with an heckler. He was at least trying to be respectful at first, asking them to tell him about it after the show. However they just wouldn't leave any well... I can't blame him for getting upset and angry about it. You don't like the jokes, walk out.

Well at that point he was still trying to be nice and was telling them to leave the show (which was in a BASEMENT). At that point, he was NOT trying to be funny, he was trying to get those people out of the show. Those assholes ruined the show for everybody else because they thought their voice was more important that those trying to enjoy the show.
I agree with Godfrey. If you don't like the show, you're free to leave, but don't ruin it for other people.

These people pay money to be entertained... and comedians use every show and every oppurtiny they get to become more likable and gain more fans.. when a heckler ruins the mood like that.. its impossible to continue without awkwardness and the show is just not as good anymore this is why comedians get really angry at hecklers

this man has always cracked me up, and everybody loves him. And I promise I have never SEEN him get like this.
