Griffin advocates the abolition of the Federal Reserve System (FED), but he fails to explain what will replace it. Gold coins? Private banks? My favorite solution is reform of the FED - it should be prohibited to make new money.

Related topic: I believe that all cash should be banned and replaced with electronic money transactions. This reform will eliminated tax evasion, money laundering, and most other crime. It will also eliminate tax forms - computers will calculate all taxes.

The book 'Secrets of The Temple' was Ed's example of controlled opposition in that it proposed a solution that was in fact a non solution = get better people to run the FED.

The total I calculated for calender 2010 was $8.5 trillion. Another treasurydirect page had declared $8.4 trillion (fiscal or calender unknown) had been auctioned. I used the government figure. Calculate the total yourself.

They turn over their net profit to the Treasury every year.

No Treasury securities sales are "off the books".

Anyone who claims they are is a moron.
