The song is called "Thank God You're Doing Fine" by a band once known as "Lawsuit." They are one of my all time favorite groups, but sadly, they only existed during the 1990's. They were from Davis (near Sacramento) and consisted of about 12 members including horns and percussion. They were incredible and varied in their music considerably... so much fun live, everyone danced! About a year or so after they broke up their lead singer died, along with him any hope of reunion.
I think I'm better at making documentaries. (I should've said my favorite "short film" project, because I am very proud of my Grateful Dead Parking Lot video.)
I plan to make an Amtrak documentary sometime soon. Of one of the overnights in a roomette or something. People should see how much better than a plane it is.
Good luck with your high speed rail. We have Acela here, but it still isn't that fast and I don't know if it stops anywhere in New Jersey, although it might (which slows it down more).
Agreed about Amtrak. It really is a pleasurable way to travel. I went to Utah on the train to go snowboarding early this year. The sleeper is quite nice. Flying is like torture now. Even if you take first class you feel like cattle in the herd. Everyone is in a hurry to get where they are going, no pleasure in the journey. On a later trip, I went all the way across the country on Amtrak, stopping in Chicago. I'd like to take a Southern route next.
I've taken it from NJ to Pittsburgh--Altoona loop is pretty cool-- and down to Atlanta. It's just so awesome. You can walk around, stretch, have good food (compared to planes). The food actually is pretty good. I first tried rice and gravy on a train.
Biden's a big fan of Amtrak, so we should see increased funding and stuff.

Pretty cool. I was expecting a documentary based on what you said. I wanted to smack that kid.
It's always interesting how people completely play along even though there's a camera pointed at them.
Nice job.

Thank You. I appreciate that. I spent a lot of time editing, along with selecting music and adding the music. It was a lot of fun to make.

Not the greatest thing I've seen, but I liked the "dope smoking hippie" and the hippie chick's hair.
