@natethejammer sorry about the struggles bro. The numbers are a very simple version of the "Nashville Number System." This video was uploaded for a certain band to learn how to play this song the way our church does. We don't use chords as the keys are constantly changing. We use numbers so we learn progressions and not just chords. That way we can play the song in many different keys. Sorry our vid didn't help, I imagine there to be a million How to's out there for this song with chords
@chechica2005 Thanks for the vid upload and this infor. For those who don't follow, please do a Google search on this, there are loads of infor on "Nashville Number System". You will find this system useful for you as working musician
@rhymeskill Nigel Hendroff, and Michael Guy are my two favorite guitarist from Hillsong. Nigel is a staple at Hillsong. Michael was the electric player for the United we stand album, he was the one who played "an introduction." He has since moved on to solo projects in the US. But the U2 influence in his playing is obvious, but he has definitely made it his own. And who can blame somebody for being influenced by the edge. :)
im assuming he's using a pedal. which effect is he using??

You mean that U2 type sound...lol. Great tutorial btw I just recently had a revelation that Hillsong really took the U2 sound and ran with it, lol.
