One thing that I like about ANTM, is that Tyra and her producers/artists really take time to figure out good styles for their models, and they also notice when their models already have an excellent hair color or hairstyle already that compliments their features, or sets a good contrast to them.

They also try to mix it up for each girl, too, from their ordinary style as well.

Well... no it's not, the lighting makes the hair look black, but very rarely does Tyra ever really assign black colored hair... no one has natural black hair...just look at someone's hair under direct sunlight and you'll see what i mean.

Did they even change anything on most of these girls? I feel like they spend less money on this cycle than they did on a lot of the others... they only went to Hawai'i, which is a part of the United States, and Maui isn't even a big fashion city. It could have just been that the CW didn't have as much money to spend, but I have a sneaky suspicion that they weren't as willing to spend a load of money on the short girls that might not - let's be realistic - make it very far in the industry anyway.

@animegal2686 Tyra tends to use the term "chocolate brown" which is actually about a level 2 or 3 (level 1 being black, level 10 being lightest blond) so it actually isnt black, but close enough to where some lighting may make it appear as such. :)
