  • to the guy who tryed to sound cool by saying his favorite harp is a horner blues harp, wooden reed lol. if your reeds are wood bro, your doin somethin wrong. honers blues harp has a wooden "comb" and you can call it a tin sandwitch if you want. it dont matter. just thought id clear that up since you wanted to get technical. to the dude that posted, id go with a honer marine band in the key of c if youd like to start playin.

  • i would say this soung pinpoints, the roots of rock-n-roll.

  • Muddy refers to my surroundings after a summer long rain storm, the champagne refers to how I'm dealing with it, the reefer to how I used to, lol!!!

  • 0 dislikes. Says a lot about marijuana!!

  • Nice track! Thanks for sharing!

  • its not true u don't have to live the blues to have the blues i just enjoy blues and play harmonica and i can jam along to tracks very well actually it's in ur soul if u enjoy it u can play it ... plus my cousin who died 2 years ago was honestly the best harpist ive ever heard and ive heard thousands so that's where my inspiration came from ive been playin about a year or so know so that gave me the blues rite there..

  • you can't play the blues unless you live the blues

  • well you know i'm gonna be stickin with my reefer... aint gonna be messin round with no cocaine

  • The picture at 1:22 is Muddy after a toke, listening to this song. mmmhm.

  • @ritealoser007 Haha, At first i was like "Noo" then i saw in his hand, Or it's a spliff or it's a ring! Haha!

  • @ritealoser007 Actually i think he was listening to someone else, Enjoy face + muting guitar strings (In respect)

  • wasn't this track on "King Bee," the second release from Johnny Winter's label Blue Sky?

  • The harp player on this song is Jerry Portnoy. This cut is from the late 70's and Little Walter was long dead by then.

  • little walter is on the harp

  • all thru the song.if you had been anyone EVER that accually plays you would know that harmonica is called HARP.one of my favorite to play is the horner "blues harp" wood reed harp

  • @reverend099

cool.! thank you for that brief fact. i didnt know. i love the harmonica. i wish i could play. i honestly want to play. what would u recommend for a beginner like me. some sort of set or w/e. send me some link man. i would really like to start playing harmonica/ harp

  • @wager420 i don`t recomend my way of learning.be lonely, have hard times, drink heavily and listen to alot of blues.

  • @wager420 buy a hohner marine band in A Bb and C.they are 30$ each harmonica comes in a different key. buy a boook to get you started then look up a guy on youtube called Adam Gussow

  • @wager420 find yourself a hohner blues harp. start practicing. you'll get a feel. eventually you meet a man who'll teach you.

  • whos that on harp?anyone know?

  • @reverend099 where the fuck you hearing harps lol

  • @reverend099

Little Walter blew Harp with Mud at this time!

  • Who is blowing harp in this song?

  • 2:32 yeah!

  • Bar owners would kick Muddy out of the clubs when he was playing for burning one onstage

  • this is the stuff

  • Why marijuana blues?

  • reefer is slang for marijuana

  • Love Love Love !! pain pain pain ... smoke smoke smoke high high high .

  • was this before jimi hendrix?

  • yea, muddy waters was one of jimi's influnces

  • weird question...of course it was

  • @iwatchfites I saw late Muddy several times live in the Netherlands lang ago with Otis Spann,Koko Taylor,Big Johb Wrencher,Lightning Slim Whispering Smith and many others, when he played he was in another world and it seems that the the devil was around him and in short words he laughed and it was in a place with all black folks and my brother and I where the only white ones

  • @bobobekker

are u trolling? or are you seriously being honest? when u say that. i think about that quote " we sold our souls for rock n roll" in this case...blues =)

  • @iwatchfites yes

  • you can see how jimi hendrix was influences by muddy waters...awesome.

  • God Bless Muddy Waters,

  • Champagne and reefer.
