hyundai makes me sick. everything they do is a blatant attempt at other carmakers. i know the japanese imitated some of the germans, but this is straight burglary from the lexus ls460's garage. even the headlights are a total ripoff of the LS600hl's. lexus should sue for copyright infringement.

Before you suggest Lexus see their lawyers you should look at the first LS, which was a complete Benz knock-off.

Also, Hyundai is positioning itself to take on Lexus,Infiniti & Acura- Kia will assume their old spot a take on Honda, Toyota & Nissan.

This is a very smart strategy with good looking cars and a 10 year, 100K mile warranty to boot.

Yes, I have already stated that. Lexus did it at somewhat of an innocuous time when they arrived with the LS400 back in the late 80s. And yes, the GS series starting looking eerily like the E class. But you have to remember this was a time when German automakers were marred with quality issues, in which Lexus would later be renowned for. But in our day and age when all automakers have the R&D and ingenuity, why just limit yourself to imitation, and not innovation?

the thing is, this would probably screw them over more, they should focus on what they are best doing, making Hyundai's not Bentley's (yes I do know its highly inspired from Lexus, and Benz.)

Veracruz, Genesis Sedan, joint projects with Chairman (similar to Equus), Centennial, KDM Azera. Also their engine is used in the KDM Spirra, Tau is on the Ward's top 10 engines, and the Genesis won COTY. Only thing really hindering them is brand cachet. If i were Hyundai, I would be like Toyota and create a spinoff like Lexus.

ughhh buddy, xReventonx, umm heard of Azera? Veracruz? luxury cars does not have to be maybach, 7 series, s class so on so on. Luxury vehicles have something unique that normal cars are lacking. Such as build quality, design, functions like automatic tilt/telescope, cooled/heated seats, rear sunshade etc. In this case, Hyundai had it in 2006 with Azera. That was their 1st step.
