Anybody mind giving me a brief description of what this anime is about? Im debating whither to watch it or not it looks kinda interesting but I dont want to attempt to get into something when I have no idea what its about.

@steven6666600000 It is a fairly good anime, it's about these beings called 'contractors' and their battle. They are kind of like assassins with special powers. It mainly focuses around Hei and how he has to cope with being a contractor as well as pretending to be Chinese student Lǐ Shùnshēng . The storyline is too long to explain and hard to describe, just watch it especially if you are into a supernatural and unique storyline. :)

@boywhogames ... much better than code geass ( code geass is cool, but this is better) if you watch this.. watch season 1 then the 4 ovas then season 2. ok basically mysterious black gate appears, all stars disappear with fake ones representing contractors. Contractors basically work for organizations or go rouge. can't go more than that... but so good!!!

@boywhogames yes... here is a tip.... don't get too attached to secondary characters and some main characters haha... it is dark.. season one has comedy but in season 2 it is barely present but enough for a break or two. (you knw code geass has 2 season right??) man, was i attached to some characters that well.. yeah! my favorite is season 1 but season 2 is so close and it is a bit grittier, just a bit.

@michael1734 One of my faves!!! It didn't win awards for nothing! Have you watched the 4 part "Gaiden" or the second series, "Ryuusei no Gemini"? PS...one of my fave soundtracks for an anime is InuYasha, written by Kaoru Wada (of Kingdom Hearts fame, and others). But I have a feeling you may already be familiar.

nah, FMA (the orignal) followed the manga (book) till a certian point, then offshot and made a different storyline. brotherhood stayed true to the magna and thus, had to finish later because the magna took longer to finish. in my opinion brotherhood is WAY better, but check it out for yourself :)

Season 3 was an "OVA" (Official Video Animation), meaning it wasn't meant as a third season, but as a bridge between the first and second season.

But I agree, there should definitely be a third season.
