@alajreid257 shrimp are much smaller, prawns get quite large compared to shrimp. shrimp are also used with cocktails and on kebabs, where as prawns are more of an actual feed due to the size difference
@MrDylanneilson round victoria point me and a few lads seen the water boiling off its head with prawns and cleaned up in 3 12ft net cast. took a while to pickem out and would of casted again but we think we had enough lol.....

Are the dark prawns a different species of prawn or a genetic variation? Are they tiger prawn?

Where in the bay did you get them? Usually i get them from the top of Russell to bottom of Macleay, All around karra.
