No they don't they have Persian and Arabian roots. Chaldeans are just Catholic Assyrians and the real Chaldeans were an Arabian tribe that migrated into the Southern regions of Iraq. Then in the South came the Lakhmid Arabs, Banu Asad Arabs who are related to Qurayesh and dominate most of Karbala and Najaf and other regions in the South.
