  • Hey man how crazy would it be to make me a replica of the family force 5000

  • WHOO FF5! haha, love em'

Oh, and thanks on showing me how to make a keytar!

  • what is the width of the keytar neck?

  • thanx for the tutorial,

  • my roland ax 7 is better and so am i playing but nice craft

  • I wish I can do this but my synth weighs 8 kg.

  • you should have simply disassembeled a usb keyboard and midi controller and arranged the parts into a wooden frame.

sticking pieces onto a slab of wood isn't very ergonomic, is it?

still, long live the keytars :)

  • @auxili160 have a look at what i did :P its like i listened to your advice and did exactly that lol

  • OMG that looks heavy...

  • @synthmx no heavier than a guitar

  • Nice build but personally i would have places the keys on the neck. Keytars always looked uncomfortable to play and backwards. That thing looks like it weighs a ton too, i would have gravitated to a more bill and ted headless small v style body.

  • great idea, but your keytar is very ugly. too fat!

  • If you're building a keytar, strip down a midi controller. dont just surround one with wood...

  • um... something else. It just wouldnt be as cost effective. You could patch through a midi cable and use some different kind of mini keyboard (might find a small 1-2 octave one like they used to sell in the late 80s early 90s that would work slick)

  • what could i use if i wanted it to be connected to my keyboard via midi instead of using a computer

  • how much was put into this?

  • im looking forward to bulding this... nice video
