There's many colors like indigo, red, blue, orange, black are the newest colors. While colors yellow, Green, and Violet existed back then.

The Blue Ring's draw their power from Hope, much in the same way as a Green Ring is energized by Willpower.

Much like the Green lanterns they can fly, create a protective force screen, and project energy blasts.

@cowclot Because from an evolutionary standpoint, 2 legs, 2 arms, and a head above the shoulders affords more advantages than any other path. 3 legs is just plain impractical, and 4+ legs dosent afford much height, which means less visibility, which is vital when taking in surroundings, which is vital to rising above the rest of the food chain. And about the arms, why would land-borne species need ever more than 2 arms/hands?

Wow, I know where they got the idea for Blue Lanterns from. My family has

a book God vs. Satan : Untold Story , in it, it directs you to a secret website used

I read the book it is fantastic. Predicted in the Bible to finally explain God's Mystery to man. It does.

The most important emotion there is, in this universe, is LOVE. Will power I would put in second place in terms of the Green Lanterns. Hal Jordan broke free of Parallax and defeated Sinestro because of his strong will power. John Stewart defeated the Manhunters using his strength of will. And I believe Hal Jordan will end the threat of the Black Lanterns using all of the emotions together, not just one probably. Its sad to look at a G.L. video and see all kinds of sniping at others.

dude,the concepts the colored corps are based around relate to fundamental principles of life. hope is the strongest weapon any living thing can have. will is merely the tool that carries out the actions. it is more flexible than rage,however,which tends to follow a specific singular direction. think about it: if u don't believe in something or that something can happen,how likely are you to be empowered to try to make it a reality? everything starts with the hope,the DESIRE to make it happen.

@garasu29 I'm diggin' that about the Blue Lanterns. Hope's the most powerful of the emotional spectrum. Teaming that up with the Green Lantern's will, pretty much makes them unstoppable.

The Blue Lantern's spread hope, it's their main objective. They're some of the most humble and righteous beings in the universe. Very spiritual, really. But defending the universe is part of their job, and they do it when it's necessary. So their rings don't need all that ability for the most part.

It's said that it's not the ring, it's the willpower of it's user, that charges the BL ring to full capacity. So... what if a Blue Lantern *has* that sort of willpower themselves? There you go, most powerful Lantern in the Spectrum right there.

Naturally, when I made a Blue Lantern character for an RP I'm in, I exploited that loophole. :P
