  • correction in description battalion 4 acting as battalion 9

  • Miss those days…:(

  • who were the guys at the end?

  • @peanut111shorty E23 guys were here for a CPR drill.

  • NYC needs to allow the Q-sirens again, a blast of that sucker and that'll move people out of the way fast.

  • Its a shame that we all live in this world where people are in such a rush that they won't even give up 30sec of there live to let a fire truck resound to a call-out. I hope that these people remember the delay they caused when they are waiting for a fire truck to help them.

  • It gets me everytime how oblivious New Yorkers are. The trucks were in the house, lights going, sirens going, and people still walked in front of them. It was like these people thought they were more important than what the firefighter had to do!! The murder rate in NY would be higher if I was a FDNY. "Sorry officer, I had my lights and siren on but this moron just walked right out in front of me!"

  • I saw the french fire fighter

  • 1:18 French firemen ?

  • @nicola595 Yep !!!

  • Hear those horns and see those lights? It means GET OUTTA THE WAY! Not take your time. Jeez...it was great to hear some people encourage the firefighters.

"I know whos a hero to me! FDNY, 343!"

  • gotta love how the engine officer uses the loudspeaker to say"GET OUT OF THE ROAD".

  • at 0:04, what did the guy on the right say to the man on the left before they laughed?

  • As an Irishman I am proud to see an Irish flag on both Engines. Irishmen and women have a long tradition of working in the fire and police departments of New York. Long may it continue. We mourn the fallen heroes of 9-11 for evermore. Looking forwar to seeing the FDNY back in Dublin for St Patricks Day. The Guinness will be flowing!!

  • wait did they leave those guys at 1:26?

  • @Moontrucker113 Ce sont des pompiers français ;)

    They are French Fireman ;)

  • lol, get outta the road!!

  • The 1 thing that surprises me is how the hell the rig drivers can negotiate their way thru all the traffic and still get to the fire or accident that traffic is brutal not to mention the idiot pedestrians go NYFD and NYPD

  • 0:48

    MOVE OUT OF THE ROAD

    lol.

    only in NY.

  • @MrEngine8Firefighter:

Even more important, vehicular traffic move over on the road so the FDNY Trucks can get to the call ASAP. That is one reason firelanes were created on major NYC Streets and Avenues.

  • People have no respect for firefighters

  • people have no respect on moving out of the way when the rigs are coming out

  • Only in NYC

  • What's Battalion 4 doing there?

  • whats with the two guys at the end they forgot them

  • Amazing how many people had to be told to stop when the doors were open and the lights flashing. People are so stupid its a wonder society functions

  • Americans love sirens and lights don't they...

  • They should set up a hose and the people that keep walking in front of truck will get blasted.

  • american firetrucks look like christmas trees :D

  • 8th Ave???????

  • LOL @ "GET OUT OF THE ROAD!" Best video EVER.

    :p

  • Between the sirens and the airhorns, you captured this perfectly! good job!

  • GET OUT OF THE WAY

  • Why FDNY don't using Q2b Siren?

  • Do you know what they were responding to? They sent the ladder out so was it a structure fire.

  • @1FireRescue1 I don't remember what they responded to.

  • @1FireRescue1

It could of been extrication, as ladder trucks carry and jaws and stuff. Engine might go along for medical support or some deal. But most likley it was structure fire.

  • @1FireRescue1 hey dude. it was a AFA box we were going to. If it`s a high rise building we always got our ladder rig with. my beautiful Seagrave 4 ggg my rig my graver gg :)

  • @1FireRescue1 Most fire companies always send their Engine and their Truck to all calls, whether its a structure fire or not. My station sends out our Engine and Truck to fire alarms

  • @1FireRescue1 In ny we have a thing like a 3and2 response which is 2trucks(ladder) and 3engines that goes for gas leaks and other phone alarms.

  • Lol, I live in Miami and once i saw a Fire truck and the guy in front of the truck stopped driving and the truck almsot rammed into him 0.0

  • saw this fire house when i went to the nyc

  • la petite delegation de pompiers francais xd ils ont bien de la chance d'avoir vue ca :)

  • WHEN EVERYBODY RUN OUT THEY RUN INN

  • @rickblainezgz is that why 2 guys were standing there dressed as firemen? lol

  • lol I'd love to be a fireman just to operate that airhorn

  • @eaglet888 Just ask a trucker. I'm sure he/she will let you blow the horn a couple times.

  • i love how the people are like ah there is no rush even though the fire truck is about to hit them... talk about oblivious

  • hahahahahaha Get out of the road.

  • it's unbelieveable how CLUELESS those pedestrians are....walking in front of the garage doors, while you got 3 vehicles LIT UP LIKE CHRISTMAS TREES....AND with SIRENS BLARING...and they don't even move!!!People in NY are either downright RUDE or ARROGANT!

  • @rwf36 Both?

  • Great Videoo!!! I've seen this with people like that a few times while in New York City.

  • Bet tht was hella loud !!

  • if you get hit by a fire truck leaving the fire house then its your fault and you will need to pay to fix the scratches to the truck if you live.

  • @nytech04 Yes! And you'll have to remove your blood from the bumper ! lol !!

  • @frenchfffdny And if you don't live....well, they just mount your head in the house :P

  • @nytech04 GOOD

  • @nytech04 Yes and if you dont they fine you 5 minutes on their response time the next time you need them.

  • what kind of siren does the engine have

  • love the "get outta the way!"

  • damn new yorkers cant even wait 5 sec. to let them leave some people

  • GO GET EM FELLLAS!

  • WoW even leaving the station is a hassle haha.

  • whys battalion 4 there?

  • @xsaxguitarx It was 4 acting 9.

  • @xsaxguitarx fort pitts house is their main one.

  • I am an Irish police officer and I was in new york in nov 2008 and saw this exact house moving out and it sent shivers up my spine. Just looking at my photos and the memorials. Keep doing a brilliant job.

  • love the "GET OUTTA THE WAY"

  • @superkinze That had me laughing...

  • Blare the fuckin Q2B damn.

  • @atreyufan11091 FDNY's old rigs (the ones in the video) are not equiped with a Q2B. they did away with them b/c to many little kids would go running into the streets to see the fire truck, and were getting hit by cars. the new rigs that are slowly coming in are equpied with the Q....incase you were wondering

  • @cteb709 They have EQ2B's, a cheaper sounding cersion of the real thing

  • imean really, if you see the doors open up on a fire station, wait just a few minutes, if ur late, its ur own fault!!! They could be responding for you next time, geez!!!

  • the ladder truck has a louder horn then the engine

  • the canyon of buildings makes the echo of the sirens and reflections of the lights even cooler.

  • i love how he says get outta the way

  • Great video!!

  • Someone could be dying and those assholes wouldn't get out of the way. Pisses me off.

  • "get out of the way" ...lol

  • i hate how ppl see them about too pull out but continue to walk in front of them

  • Nice horn sound there.

  • It amazes me to see the idiots still trying to walk across when the there are firemen outside holding people back and the fire trucks lights are flashing. Like waiting an extra minute is going to ruin there day.

  • What kind of sirens they use?

  • I dont understand why the hell the people are still crossing while they are blaring sirens in their face!

  • Absolutely anazing to watch the DUMB ASSES continue to walk in front of a moving fire truck!

  • i went to this station the guys were fuckin cool as hell they made ya feel like family

  • @gamerbob34 Engine crews- chauffeur, officer, nozzleman, backup, doorman, and control.

  • i wanna be an nyfd when older im 14 so only 4 fast years left

  • @spainking1 21 is the hiring age.

  • nice video, but how did this get 450,000 views?

  • @maxzargo 450,000 persons did the same thing that you did to see this vid.

  • @maxzargo Because alot of people like myself have a fascination with emergency vehicles in action. It starts as a kid and for many of us never leaves. I'm 32 and my Grandpa is a retired firefighter so being at the stations alot when I was a kid has alot to do with it for me.

  • @jayhoyt28

I've been in love since before I could talk. Lmao. The only thing YouTube recommends me anymore is firefighting videos. Haha.

  • This is really amazing there was no light before some time but after a particular time it got lit up with blue and red colors. I have seen this with my own eyes not the rescue operation but seen them going those fire trucks are elegant and graceful, they look very beautiful!!

  • what was the call they were responding to? ive seen many videos of this night and ive never found out

  • Pedestrians failing to yield....makes me sick, the idiots. God bless the FDNY

  • I think the guys you see at the end are on a different apparatus other than one of the two that went out.

  • @wlittle Yes these guys are from E23. They were at this firehouse for a CPR drill at the same time that the E54 L4 personnels.

  • 2 things to say 0:45 1. that guy looks freaking mad 2. the two fire man at the end are like "S*** WE MISS OUR TRUCK WE NEED TO BE FASTER AT CHANGING OUR CLOTHS"

  • @nfig09 lol yea probably the probies

  • FDNY fucking rules! :D

  • You guys are awesome! Am also a ff. I will say I wish the people who constantly complain about response times would watch this video. Maybe then they would understand why our response times are sometimes not as quick as they would like to see. Some people don't understand the dilemma of waiting on civilians to get out of the way, whether they be on foot or in a vehicle!!!

  • Is that an Irish flag on that back of #4 @ 1:13?

  • @foneill9 Most likely, the FDNY is die hard Irish

  • @foneill9 damn right thats an irish flag

  • @foneill9 Pretty sure it was. Green, White, and Red Stripes! ;)

  • only in NYC, do you have to stop pedestrians from walking in front of a responding house. Can't say as we have that problem here....you guys looked good

  • At the end of the video, there a three french firemen with white, red and yellow lines.

    I'm french =)

  • I love it.."Get out of the road!"

  • @Lawmaster1702 Agreed :P

  • German Berufsfeuerwehr is much faster, takes them 30 seconds to get in thei cars and make them move ;D

  • howcome at the end there's still 2 firemen left by the doors? lol

  • @deadwaves Already replied to this question, see below

  • Man...that's got to suck! Having your trucks come out where everyone's walking. I feel for them! It's bad enough when you have idiots behind the wheel of a vehicle that won't get out of the way! Lay on tha air horns!

  • I like when they make a big seen when they pull out

  • is that some of the fire trucks that responded to 9/11

  • @acboy40 None of these. The Engine is a 2003 Ferrara and the Ladder is a 2001 Seagrave primary affected to The Rock.

  • what were you goin out too that you needed all for

  • I want to be a NY FF, but I dont want to live in NY...or the city part anyway.

  • @qwx22 you dont necessarily have to live in the city. you can live in other counties as far as orange. or go to Yonkers.

  • What the fucking siren is that?

  • yep

  • it would be bad ass to drive a fire truck to school lol

  • @jman481 a more expensive ride than those rich folk with their beemers and benzes

  • there you go, just lay on that horn!!! ^_^

  • must be the worst city on earth to be a fireman

  • it must be the best if u love your job

  • ....people were still walking in front of the trucks even when their sirens were on. It shows people are stupid and selfish even when others are in need of help.

  • Typical New Yorkers, too ignorant to move.

  • @RJBFIRECHIEF1. lol seriously, they're either too ignorant to move or (if you're one of the couples that went around the FF's telling ppl to wait) just think that they're special/exempt.

i could never work at a midtown house like 4-truck/E-54; i honestly don't have the patience for crap like that every time i were to go out on a run

  • Fantastic !!

  • And lol "get out of the way"

  • The brilliant lights and sirens!! Just beautiful

  • y a des pompiers francais sur cette video

  • i'm debating between being on the swat team and being a firefighter. today i'm on firefighter side but others i'm on swat

  • @swatlover16 Go where your heart truely desires. No matter what believe in yourself, cause people like me believe in you.

  • Awesome !

  • beutiful

  • it is it is

  • Ich finds immer wieder genial, was die Amerikaner für geile Lichtanlagen auf ihren Feuerwehrfahrzeugen haben!!! Echt gut!!!

I find it brilliant over and over again what the Americans have for cool light-systems on her fire vehicles!!! Really well!!!

  • NIce clip man i just bought a horn that sounds like the second one that left the Fire house its pretty lound but nice video

  • Great clip :)

  • Italian fire fighters see: aps in sirena or abp in sirena

  • God, people are such assholes. I'm sure if THEIR house was on fire they'd get the fuck out of the way.

  • hey why is that bt4 bt 9 is usualyy there

  • @MrJakemoffitt it was 4 acting 9

  • One thing all ff/emt's share other than camaraderie and brothership. We all have to deal with dumbass drivers and pedestrians.

  • @cutiger3115 HAHA VERY TRUE WORDS BROTHER ! !

  • I like the red lights better than blue ones, but that's just me.. infact I love red AND blue lights together that looks sweet!

  • nice

  • i love the red lights on the truck, in holland we have blue lights

  • you are right men in holland those thing sucks.

i want to life in Los Angeles, when i'm old enough i'm gonna do that

je hebt gelijk man in nederland zuigen die dingen.

ik wil in Los Angeles wonen, als ik oud genoeg ben ga ik dat doen.

  • i like the ford

  • Is it Hard to become an FDNY Chauffer

  • Its not a matter of getting hurt or not going fast enough, it has to do with the fact that when you run 35 alarm drops in a shifts it gets redundant.

  • Fast enough to save your Ass anytime, Dude!!! :)

  • wow they are slow it looks like it took them more than a min to get thire gear on ..

  • Comment removed

  • stick to farming kid...and dont make stupid comments...

  • @farmboy123456789101 No one will remember if it takes you 30 seconds more to arrive, everyone will remember if you cause an accident enroute and kill/injure a bystander

  • they got out of the station in a minute

  • An another guy filmed the same from the other side^^

    Search: FDNY E54 L4 B9

  • Between the trafic and the pedestrians I don't see how the FDNY gets to where they need to go.God bless the men and women of the FDNY. If I was driving my attitude would be move it or lose it.

  • @SlickieKitty i agree a hundred %

  • @SlickieKitty AMEN!!

  • Now thats what I can "respect." New Yorks bravest are trying to leave the station. So...Let's all walk in front of the doors while the trucks are pulling out.

  • Comment removed

  • thats a very good idea should do that in every place that has a station i've almost ran someone over responding to a call and the guy ran out in from of the truck as i was pulling out

  • they should have little gate things that open, kinda like at a train crossing or something when the garage doors are open or something. wouldnt that be a good idea?

  • that is actually a swell idea, but no money in the budget. BUT..when a citizen gets struck and killed accidently, that's when they will FIND the money. Thats how government works sometimes unfortunately.

  • @Sudano66 i could swore i saw one of them before on a youtube video, maybe wasnt fdny but im sure it was, its a really good idea

  • very slow responding...
