  • this will be released in the next century?? come on guys, i i don't think that ppl want this anymore, they have railwokrs3 (2012) now!!!

  • Unfortunately trainsimcentral.co.uk shut down a few months ago and nobody can really tell me if there is successor and where we are supposed to find the required downloads now. Besides that it is not available - it is cool stuff :-) Thank you railsimroutes for this wonderful video and cool music.

  • @fastdrive55 you still can download it on Ubuntu Software Center

  • this is the ultimate bve route! super nice work! cant wait to get my hands on it and add it to my collection!

  • This is AMAZING!!! Any idea when it will be realesed? I love the locos!

  • Any closer to the release date?

  • when i try to open, openbve, it just says "sorry windows has had to close openbve"

  • Make sure you have all the dependencies installed as the OpenBVE site says.

  • Cheers I sorted it now

  • Looks really neat, finally a good rail sim on Linux :)

  • looks awesome

  • great vid

  • where did you download this game openbve plese reply

  • it aint out yet

  • Aaah! Are the new, inclined curves already obstructed here? Looks first-class!

(sry for my bad english :P)

  • Hi! Yes, I've modelled cant in the track objects and this can be seen in some of the shots, although not all the curves have transitions applied to them. They will eventually. :)

  • The background music reminds me of the stuff that's played on the Swiss Railway Journeys series!

  • I'm not sure if I've ever heard the soundtrack used in this series, but if it is similar, then it can't have done much for their sales. :P

While I'm here I might as well apologise for inflicting such an appalling aural assault on the hapless souls unfortunate enough to stray onto this page! The excuse I'm resorting to is that YouTube's compression process mangled and distorted my music. ;) Actually, it did a bit...

  • could do wid out da music but gd vid

  • Amazing stock colouring, catenary, scenery, can't wait!!!

  • So is there any release date yet?

    Will it be free?

Shame you couldnt have made this for rail simulator as the rooling stock looks 10 times better.....

  • Is this actually for bve????? because most bve route you can only stay in the cab???

  • LOL

HILMORTON I LIVE NEAR THERE :d THTS IN RUGBY

  • Stunning!

  • Ive used BVE 4,and know that the physics, sounds and motion are the best out there atm, adding outside/trackside cameras will take this simulaion to a new ERA in rail simming.Keep up the amazing work,it really is appreciated.

  • Stunning Anthony, absolutely stunning. Reminds me of the awe that the original WCML route generated across the BVE community when it came out. Just when you think that the bar can't be pushed any higher, somehow you do it. Great stuff :)

  • how do you install openbve?

  • do you get the slow line as well? via Northampton wid the class 321?

  • ow good lol, i'll still have openbve when it comes out but i think it will be good for bve, looking forward to ur wcml and cross city north.

  • Excellent stuff as always. Can't wait for the release.

  • Thanks. :)

Thank you to everyone else for your comments too!

  • a. can you still get the cab view

    b. has it the same sounds as bve4

    c. can you get a class 390 diagram

    d. wtf is that awful music

e.can it be avalible for bve4 as a diagram cab view.

    d.r u planning in making a class 86 for bve4?

  • a). Of course

    b). Yes

c). Naturally, once I've created them

d). Ok, it's a rubbish attempt. :P But at least it'll be easy for you to create something far better, if you ever fancy having a go at anything similar. :)

e). Yes, with much reduced detail

f). I'm just concentrating on the route. :)

  • does openbve only allow you to go outside the train or can you still view inside the cab

  • There is a cab view as with BVE4, and eventually openBVE will support a full 3D cab. I wasn't too concerned with demonstrating the cab view here, as every BVE user has seen cab views before; rather I wanted to show some new features which are beyond BVE 2 and 4's capabilities (and openBVE v0.6 and 0.7 can do more than the v0.4 and 0.5 releases shown in the video). :)

  • Looks brilliant carnt wait for this one :)

  • Very good graphics.... 5*

  • Are you thinking of releasing those train objects anytime soon? This is really good.

  • Not yet, but the release of some of the train objects needn't be linked to the release of the route. :) Thanks for the comment!

  • Excellent stuff well done Anthony.
