Hi, um. I just got my iPod Touch 2G yesterday. I want to use it a little before I might "jailbreak" it. But can I ask what this does for the iPod? Does it and any new features, or what?

hey man i just jail broke my i pod touch 2g on firm ware 2.2.1 5h11a but now on my computer when i hook up my i pod a window pops up saying usb device not recognized and my i pod wont even turn on so now i cant put it into dfu mode please help me because i dont think apple will fix i pods that have been jail broken and i dont want to shell out $239 for another ipod touch so plese help me asap

to put it in dfu mode just hold the power button and the home button down at the same time for ten seconds then let go of the home button but keep holding the power button for 8 more seconds
and make sure your ipod is plugged in when you do this!

I know I see. I got mixed up with the 24kpwn patch LOL BTW I'm developing a GUI for this and I was wondering if you knew if you can go into firmware bundles and replace the old LLB patch with the new 24kpwn patch?

hmm o really... well could you try this for me since my computer doesn't have enough memory for an IPSW file :( . You don't really have to try to restore with it, I just want to see if it will show up when you open it in winrar or 7-zip

yea im on 64bit vista i got pass the bat file but when i ran the runme.exe it couldnt find my ipod i gave up to many issues right now ill wait for a easier way

Right click the libusb install .exe and set compatibility to windows xp
