@WWEQAF Sort of. I wasn't out to everyone at this point. I just made the promo with the structure of Gay v. Straight because I thought it gave the potential doc a better plot line...
I think there are differences other than sexual preferences. The reality is we have our own challenges within the community with the whole butch/fem thing. Some gay people would give their right arm to look, appear, sound straight. (or what they perceive that to be) They reject the fem gays as those nasty girlish queens who give them a bad name.
Self loathing? Some say yes. Others say No.
Straight men one-on- one are awesome.Put them in a group and they get less tolerant quick! Hum
Looks like a very interesting documentary. So what is your theory on the difference? Or am I jumping the gun?
In my mind the differences are primarily environmental. You grow up differently, more secretive, less role models, etc. You definitely have a fascinating subject.
i think the problem with homophobes can be traced to 3 things: 1) religion obviously. 2.) you have deeply insecure men who support rigid gender roles of what is masculine vs.feminine. of why(in their opinion) many men choose to be the woman(passive) in the relationship. and you can throw in drag.3. you have equally insecure women who believe that any man is a husband to be and must take care of them.and get bent out of shape when the man THEY fall for, falls for another man
I think those problems that you mentioned have something to do wit the underlying issue, but i think there's an even deeper underlying mentality engrained into why many people think that we, as human beings, are habitually monogamous in the first place. It's actually the reason why I started this project in the first place. More on that later...
i think it's more than 10% xD... well as far as those who may be interested in same sex strong enough to desire it... gay/bi/les are just labels which may be hard to identify with
the first picture of the video has "you are gay" written all over it.
