Not a big difference. powerband changed. It went from idle to 5500rpms.I swappedto the 177and it went from 2000rpms to 6500rpmsmax. It was a little more midrange to topend v.s. supertorquemonster! If your making 400hp already then step up to the 177 atleast. the 142 is good to about 500hp max.
@1337chevelle when chosing blowers 7lbs of boost is 7lbs of boost no matter what the size of the blower. The only difference is that the smaller blowers spin faster to make the same boost a bigger blower does. Spinning faster creates heat and as we know heat is horsepowers enemy.
