  • very positive fundamental knowledge keep up the good work

  • Lol...No offense, but I was trained old school...the traditional way. What happens in the dojo...stays in the dojo...and not in front of a camera. Amida Butsu.

  • Japanese ninja to Twitter

    ttp://twitter.com/#!/Ninja_apprentic

  • so you would hit someone in the baalll dirty moves lol

  • also ur more likely to get a "boxers break" in your hand (google it if u dont kno what it is) than breaking your wrist

  • This guy has no idea what he is talking about its true that palm attacks can be effective but its only used if you have very weak wrist, do fist push ups alot and you dont have to use the palm slap girl attack.

My instructor Graham Ramsden a 7th dan should be 9th or perhaps 12th, but stopped ranking when he went and learned Russian Systema training and is now teaching us that. Graham is 9th dan if you look at his skills and he is also fusing Bujinkan + Russian Systema together making it strong.

  • @Wargumm1i open hand strikes to the nuts are kinda gay....palm hand strike to the nose or chin are very good in a street fight

  • Dude, thanks but what is the "Boxing Item training" called (The man)

  • @d0q3 You mean the man-like freestanding punch bag? It's called B.O.B. Body Opponent Bag - Sold by "CENTURY"

  • @TewRick where can i buy itD:. i live in singapore.

  • @TewRick wondered why none of his songs came out recently

  • Thank you everyone for all the comments..positive and negative.

  • @TewRick Hey Tew,it would be good if you would to open the club somewhere in Serbia... I think alot of ppl would attend your school

  • And you can't kill someone by striking them in the nose. Your nose is made of cartilage. It could break it, but can't go into your nose and kill you. It is like a piece of rubber, not a piece of wood. People break their nose all the time, none die from it.

  • Very good technique...when your opponent can't attacked back. Can you hit their nose exactly how he described while punching back though? I do agree that this would work, don't get me wrong, but not in a fight where the opponent can strike back. If you moved out of the way your angle would be off and you wouldn't be able to hit him like he shows, it wouldn't be effective.

  • @wrstlr3232Think outside the square. Obviously you do this technique when you are in front of the aponent which is how many fights start. This would be great (I prefer the chin as larger target/easier to hit) if a huge guy comes up close and wants to fight & you act like you don't wanna fight but suprise him with a palm strike under the chin etc Also there are different ways to break your nose, if it's with an upwards strike like this its very dangerous !

  • @TewRick do you have any classes in yhe phoenix or peoria area

  • @TewRick do you have any classes in the phoenix or peoria?

  • sorry i aint gay i aint grabbing no balls

  • nice hair ;-) oh mama

  • lol this guy is a wana be. look at his "sword training video" might as well be called "the quickest way to get your ass kicked and make your opponent laugh at you at the same time"

  • sorry but this is bullshit .u gonna break ur fingers trying that in a random streetfight.

  • hahahahahaa omg trying to grab his balls hahahahaha

  • Good instruction

  • killing is when u are surrounded controling only works in 1 x 1

  • even then killing is not necessary.

breaking limbs or knocking out is enough against 90% of all people.

  • Why kill if you can just control?

  • @blutravenisme

Because killing's a lot easier, you can only control someone when you're physically restraining them.

  • @blutravenisme see it's that 'if you can' part of your sentence. control is harder and none should add any risk to their own life when they're innocent and in the right.

  • @blutravenisme Because some people should not have the opportunity to hurt again and some must be completely stopped for the instantaneous safety of yourself and those near you. Also, you cannot control anything forever.

  • this aint real ninjitsu, well it could be but with the ninja stuff taken out. ninjitsu is not self defence, it is for killing. for example the first attack where he put his palm in his face, a real ninjitsu technique would to be to put your nail in his eye sockets and blind him then kill him. this isn't real ninjitsu killing technique ar, that is the real ninjitsu not all of that other bull crap on youtube p.s. ninjitsu is illegal to be used to attack some one, you can only use it on armed ppl.

  • Where do you get that stuff? Been training Ashida Kim´s shitjutsu?

  • proof for it being illegal please.

  • which one is better?? fist punch or palm strike??

  • which is better? an apple or an orange?

  • Both are effective and have their uses. In my area a palm strike is "legally" considered a push so in court one could say that a palm strike was just trying to push the attacker away. IMHO neither is better, they are both good.

  • Facepalm is the new fist punch?

  • This guy is the biggest douche bag the martial arts has ever seen!

  • not really..

  • Comment removed

  • Technically he explains the heel palm strike correctly or correct enough. But that last combo....BULLSHITTO!! Your opponent or attacker would be bent over after a HP strike to the groin. He just wouldn't be in a position to be hit with the 3rd HP strike. In my opinion.

  • Well if you do 2 and 3 very fast together u can get the person before they bend over

  • omg who named this ninjitsu?

there are NO palm heel strikes in ninjutsu only Shuto which is the SIDE of the hand not the palm..... come on this is crap.

  • It's only brave if your scared. Fear is a good thing with a bad name. I like the video, I never considered striking down with the palm so I guess I learned something about how to do it.

  • this is posiibly the most retarded ninja videos i EVER seen.

ninjitsu is spelt NINJUTSU you fukn idiot.

i simply can not believe what he is saying in this vid , there is NO ninjutsu in this video whatsoever, i you presently train with this guy quit IMMEDIATELY and go find an authentic qualified instructor preferrable one who's been to japan recently.

  • it's ninjitsu also know as ninjutsu and ninpo

  • @TheLostDrifterVan the japanese say ninjutsu, how ever you want to spell it is up to you, if you want to call it ninjitsu then you are not training in authentic ninjutsu.

BTW this guy has NO IDEA of true ninjutsu and nothing he explains here as ANYTHING WOTSOEVA to do with ninjutsu.

  • that's one of the three names for it i speak japanese by the way they also refer to it as ninpo and rick tew it pretty accomplished so maybe you should study him before you start to clown the man

  • @TheLostDrifterVan lol ive trained with 6 different 15th dans and trained all over the world in ninjutsu

bushinwa wo motte totoshi nasu neh?

  • @TheLostDrifterVan there is no way i will study this fool.

  • @TheLostDrifterVan

he does not metion timing distance OR balance. He has a blue gi, no tabi's, he practicing on a dumby ffs, i can tell by the way he moves he has NEVER trained in ninjutsu.

  • Palm Heel Strike!!!

  • Hey im very skinny and i so people take me for granted and punch me and stuff is there any good videos anybody knows of that i can use?

  • Instead of looking for an easy way out, seek formal training. It may cost an arm and a leg but it can save your life (there is also running away, that does tend to work)

  • heres some things that will help you:

    1. eat more, gain some fat

    2.stop playing magic cards thing

3.start training kickboxing, boxing jiu-jitsu, taekwondo or something. Or you shoud at least build some muscles a couple times a week.

    4. HIT THEM BACK!

  • edenista, being skinny does not mean u must be weak...strength of spirit comes from the mind...do not run !!..stand and fight, overcome the fear of defeat and u will become strong !

  • btw....rick tew...are you a KUNOICHI ninja, hmmm ? i think so kimosabi !

  • actually work out and exercise with good nutrition and you will be strong.

not being afraid means your brave not strong. reality will check you in such cases.

  • omae wa , rikai shi budō wa nani mo eigo sutorīto faitā oroka na ...u~oriāzusupirittowa , batoru shi nai suji no WINS

  • ha ha 1:22

  • interesting, well I can't argue with that I suppose, especially since I'm outside the situation looking in.

  • Nice video....Rick Tew is good at what he is doing in my mind, its kind of a modern Ninjutsu style....

From my background within Bujinkan and FMA, i dont think it looks much like what we are doing, but more like a MMA Ninja style..... :)

  • FACEPALM

  • its also good to see someone different sharing, teaching and training with Ninjutsu Techniques, the source Techniques of Ninjutsu must change with modern times, the enemy will change their Techniques to combat Ninjutsu skills from the past, something to consider, Its good to keep the basic but you need to move on, I think TewRick are vary good, Im been doing ninjutsu for 18 years. Keep the ninja alive.

  • I agree with you. I am still new to martial arts, but so far, Tew Ryu is what I prefer because it is modern and he goes straight to the point. No need to learn a million kata's and techniques with him that seem to be more for show than anything else. He teaches what will be usefull for everyday situations.

  • There is many different styles not just Hatsumi.... There was 103 ninjutsu schools in Japan so there is so different out looks of ninjutsu its all about information sharing, learn many different style but keep it basic, I think this clip it good, TewRick as many different skills and training if you look at his background you will see that they have awesome Martial arts skills and more behind them.

  • NinjItsu? I thought it was Ninjutsu. See my videos on NUNjutsu(these Nuns are DEADLY!!!)Or see Nanjutsu(the baddest Nannys you'll ever see!) Or how about NONjutsu?..where we all dress up in black and just sit around and eat pizza!? I'm now also developing NERFjutsu where we use the deadliest Nerf balls and weapons currently available. Right now though I need to go practice Nookiejutsu with my girlfriend. Hai!

  • well both (ninjitsu and ninjutsu) are right, but ninjitsu is considered more "latin"

  • very good ninjitsu skills, but your ninjutsu stings dude!

  • BTW, good clip, short n simple, this I like.

  • I'm no expert, but like any window of opportunity that presents itself, especially if its the groin, then strike it. Hitting the family jewels with your hand or fist does not make anyone gay, if its a life or death situation you wont be thinking about anything else other than survival.

  • You're absolutely right, I can tell you have all the answers in the world, clearly there is no need for you to continue educating yourself, as you believe that Frank Dux is a fraud..lmao. I've also trained with Ralph Castellanos (10th degree senior master black belt, beat Chuck Norris in the world championships once and lost to him once). I won first place in 2002 with Ralph where I met Bob Wall and he autographed my trophy.

  • is this legit or no?

  • He was taught by Frank Dux (look the name up if you don't know it, lol) He trains softer than Dux because when Dux would train his guys, they would end up breaking each other's bones etc.. I trained with Rick in Awahnee, CA and he does know what he's doing. Frank Dux btw was trained by Masaaki Hatsumi and was the first American to win the Kumite in Japan. (Bloodsport) Frank now runs his own body-guarding business and Rick talks to him every day.

  • Hahahah... you obviously studied the closing credits of Bloodsport and made up some bullshit to go with it.

  • Frank Dux has been exposed as a fraud many times, however, the palm strike is very effective if done to the nose, throat, or even the side of the head. Waht he's teaching in this video is for the most part accurate.

  • Then Why NOT just train in the Bujinkan, under Hatsumi....Cut straight to the source.

    ?

  • because if you actually knew anything about Hatsumi you would know that not just any American can learn Ninjutsu from him. He DID teach to just about anyone UNTIL Frank Dux brought it to America against Hatsumi's wishes. So, though Dux is a great fighter/trainer, I do not respect him for not respecting his sensei's wishes.

  • my Bujinkan sensei (in Minnesota) just got back from Japan, and was in several Hatsumi,Nagato and shirishi sensei's classes, same with my classmates who went with my sensei, and we are all american. All seem to be welcome in the Bujinkan now days man :)

  • You do know that Frank Dux and Koga Ryu is fake right? I even had a conversation with Frank Dux about this by e-mail, because i posted him as fake on my website and when i asked him to prove his claims he backed out....By the way i heard that Rick Tew also did distance him self from Frank Dux because of his claims....

  • even assuming you had an actual conversation with him over email (incredibly unlikely), how did he not back it up? what was the proof you wanted?

  • I did and i can even show you the e-mails, since my Gmail saves all mail......I asked him for any kind of proof and he did not come with anything at all.... :)

  • u properbly had a conversation wif a fake frank dux

  • Well, it was sent to me from this e-mail: hanshifrankdux (a) gmail . com and that does belong to Frank Dux if you look on the website here: frankdux . net / schools . h t m

I dont think anyone else then Frank Dux him self is using his gmail..... :)

  • Never happened. Dux NEVER trained with Masaaki Hatsumi.

  • didnt dux train with shidoshi tanaka? frank dux i mean) . i like rick tew, he's genuine and he's not fat like most white ninja masters. dont u have to be japanese to be a true ninja anyway? oh well, i still like shihan tew.

  • Dux didn't train in ninjutsu, PERIOD. Tanaka was just a name he pulled out of his ass. As far as Tew goes, this looks like basic karate, being called "ninjitsu."

  • @brownsound1

Don't you mean to say Hat$umi?

  • @SuperSayjinElite Won't say I disagree with you, at this point in time. :)

  • i dont think i wud go for the groin wiv my hand.... dunno why... its just kinda... i dunno.... gay, maybe???

  • Please learn to keep your hands up at all times. If you were to implement this technique as he shows in the video then your body and face are vulnerable.

  • lol this guy hasnt got a clue what hes doing. i saw his "bokken and sparing dome" it was nothing short of laughable, he wasnt even holding the weapon corectly lol.

  • lol i know wat u mean.

  • werent those demonstrations from 1.00 to 1.05 a little too weak? was waiting for him to at least demonstaion 1 with full power and speed but noooooo~~

  • interestting

  • heel palm is my favorite defensive and offensive attack, it catches people off guard and if u develop the strike enough u can palm a forehead and send somebody to the floor, which is rather entertaining.

  • totally like neji's jutsu

  • i am learning ninjitsu so this vid will help

  • P.S. Dont be presumptuous, my screen name actually has nothing to do with you.

  • A palm heel strike would actually not be very effective to the groin the way you are demonstrating. The way you are performing and describing your technique seems to me like something a green belt or say....a blue belt may perform. Hmmmmmmm.

  • I actually like the way Rick Tew teaches his art, regardless of whether it has any Ninjutsu roots whatsoever or not.

I respect him as a martial artist and objectively I think he's doing what he can to train while upholding his own idea of a warrior art.

    Keep up the hard training!

  • This is some gayass instruction video!

  • he's seen american ninja 1 too many times.
