  • how do you get it to rev to 10 G's? Was it cams, valve springs, crank, and compression ratio?

  • .......... bad idea. dont waste expensive shit like that for the sake of a video. give it to me instead.

  • so what limits the rev on an engine? the springs/valves right? so if u get light weight valves and stronger springs, is that enough to raise the safe redline?

  • @chillincruisin there are a number of factors, including what you metioned, but the biggest player is stroke. Shorter stroke equals higher SAFE redline. It's about piston speed in this case.

  • @kingdomboost so just destroke the engine and strengthen the springs and you've raised the safe rev?

  • looks like a k series tach though oh well nice build i got an ls/vtec eagle rods cp pistons fully balanced rotating assembly ferrera titanium valve train stock cams skunk2 intake act 8.8 flywheel stage2 act clutch cusco lsd lol and hondata i can rev 10 i hope but ill be shifting at 8500 just to take care of it for now

  • @mdskater210 i'm sure you can get a girls number with that speech :))

  • beautiful

  • fuckin fart cannon

  • wow man omg what is your engine mad at lol fuck everyhting else man V-TEC is da way!!!

  • honda motors sound so angry at 10k

  • BOOM!!!!

  • high reving for a b16

  • @819driver b16s are the highest reving B series engine due to bore:stroke ratio

  • WOW!! amazing engine noise!! luv it!

  • niceee

  • THeres really no point in revving that high if you dont make any power up there. He has an after market cam so might rev higher but i think the stock B16B cam stops making power past 9500

  • peak power is at 7500 with stock. the only reason i can see to keep revving is the bring up the revs for the next gear...

  • peak power dont mean shit. when you drag race, or any type of race, you always red line, otherwise you aren't getting the full potential of your motor. Two friends of mine had the SAME EXACT CAR, STOCK, and went to the track. The first one shifted at "peak power", ran a 15.8, the other, shifted at red line, running a 14.6. Now you tell me, which one is better to do?

p.s. 10,000 is possible, its just not stock though.

  • ur an idiot...stock cars stop making power way before redline..

  • keep shifting early then big guy, when others smoke you and you wonder why, well, that's your problem.

  • ever heard of floating a valve? stock valvetrain isnt ment to be redlined like that...look it up the specs on any car..peak power is usually about 400-600 less rpms than redline..you would need to change the cam for it to keep pulling as hard

  • I'm not saying that peak power goes to red line, I never said that at all in any of my posts.

2 2008 Nissan Sentra SPEC-V SIR's. My one friend said redlining is bad, just like you, and he ran a measly 15.5, my sohc 1993 del sol runs 15.9 stock, that's sad. My other friend, who red lined, the way you are supposed to drag race, ended up with a 14.5 best time.

Shifting at peak power puts you back down out of your power band in the next gear, which is BAD for 1/2 mile times. Try it yourself.

  • 1/2 mile O.O

    how about 1/4 mile.

  • The b series usally makes it's peak just before red! Anyway people that do this usally swope out the cams and remapped the ECU so they have a higher peak power range.

  • Unless it`s fitted with good cams and right cam timing. With those two you can adjust at what rpm the peak power kicks in.

  • woohoohoho...oh that's a good one..seriously...

  • yo to r fuckng retarded it varibale timing engine control fucking dumb asses do ur fuckng research

  • Nice!

  • nice one man...check my ef9 out rev's at 9500rpm...

  • ya i believe that the B16's have a plate attached to the block to allow high RPM's. The plate allows for less twisting and warping of the block......but my rx7 would still take ya...;)

  • ITS OVER NINE THOUSAND!!

  • LMFAO, MADE MY DAY.

  • 9000 penises

  • wat

  • in your gay ass

  • ITS over 9000 !! WHAT !?! 900 ! Theres no way that can right !....lolz

  • vegeta, what does the scouter say about his power level?

  • ITS OVER 9000!!!!!

  • WHAT 9000???? GODDAMMIT! *blows up* XD

  • power level 9000?! no way!

  • when the heads built right and you got strong pistons rods crank shaft and a strong sleeve and theyre all light enough you can rev past 10K! 9K is where the tach ends and it went way past the end lol.

  • lmfao

  • it cant be hes going super sayan lol

  • thh....thha....thats impossible !!!

HIS POWER CANT BE THAT HIGH !!!

this damn thing must be broken

    lol !!!!!

  • hella tight... crazy props

  • WICKED SICK!!!!

  • yo bud thats fuckin unreal... no way its a b16... thats nuts

  • stands for Very Tint Engine Capacity

  • no.. Virtually Torqueless Economical Car

  • lol

  • or variable valve timing and lift electronic control

  • No actually, its Valve Timing Electronically Controlled. Look it up.

  • NO actually its Veriable valve Timing and Electronic Control.

  • no your talking about v v t l i which is what toyota uses in the GTS

  • LOL i am a honda guy but thats some funny ass shit. So true in most cases. Theyre so light though...

  • that makes no sense homo i think its more like valve technology

  • lol

  • I have the same set up in my 2000 si, what are your setings on the cam gears, and what chip are you running?

  • dump the clutch at 10,000 rpm see what happends. lol :) How much did those cams cost?

  • sick

  • only the top end skunk2 cams retainers

double valve springs and lightend flywheel. and skunk2 intake and throttle body but with standard compression ratio and rods and pistons for the b16a2. NO TURBO

  • jesus fuck man

  • Awesome!Listen to this turbo guys....

  • that was in induction kit :)

  • that was the induction kit :)*

  • p.s. did u change compression ratio???

  • hahahahahahahahahaha. did you change compression ratio. what does that have to do with this video?

  • wat.. its a question dickwad, i wanted ta know wat waz done to the car... to rev to 10,000 aint so small feat

  • S2R s2 cams are only meant to run to 9000rpm if that and that's on a itr b18c engine. the vtec cross over doesn't really seem that much better that an stock b16a2 engine. I'm sayin this because S2R s2 cam have almost the same profile as the stock non-vtec lobe and the vtec lobe has a much higher lift. this make for a strong vtec cross over point. but he prob has a chipped ecu that has changed his rev limiter. he want be making any power at that kind of rpm anyway, not with a stock b16 block

  • shiiiit wat other works been done 2 ur engine??
