I'm a big fan of Metallica, but I've never been able to follow all of the "Unforgiven" songs. Is it about not being able to forgive himself in all of them or just this song? The first two versions seem like he can't forgive other people who have wronged him... that or I'm just way off. They all seem twisted, the songs.
