Think about it....Foreigner, The Police, Sting solo stuff, Simple Minds, The Fixx, Tears For Fears, Pat Benatar, Heart, Men at Work, Bryan Adams(Reckless album awesome!), Van Halen(both Sammy and Dave), Def Leppard, Whitesnake(1987 album so good), Genesis, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest(Defenders of the Faith lp..oh yeah), etc etc etc....what a decade of great variety and I loved so much of it.Thank goodness a few still tour

Well incase your cd got scratched or stolen even, here's what to do;

Install Audacity, set recrording device as your soundcard's speaker output, set input level low (mine is at 1) since anything over .5 decibels will flatline and sound cruddy later on playback. Record this and export it as a wav. file onto the desktop. Listen and enjoy. For further listening pleasure, you can use wma ogg converter (free) to make the wav a wma file (don't use audacity's wma type) to put on a flash drive for car

@trd2009 But I don't want mp3, mp3 sucks azz. Wav files are full quality with no distortion, and wma type 2 is virtually impossible to tell from that. Mp3 is so compressed you can't even hear the seagulls in the background of music like JeanMichael Jarre's oxygen or equinox albums.
