I have been surfing the website for several days, I hope the Union LEADERSHIP takes notice of the unfavorable (like/dislike) remarks that the general public is posting. Calling a strike in these economic times, citing job security, benefits etc as the reason for striking has got to be the most asinine thing I have ever seen. There is no sympathy from the general public and you folks are going to be screwed.

Last year, after boasting record breaking billion dollar profits, Verizon paid NO TAXES yet received a 1.3 BILLION dollar REFUND....that is YOUR tax money And yet, Verizon says they can not afford the benefits to keep their workers. ...Think about it...no taxes and yet they got a refund. tell us about union intimidation when YOU can do that.
