Oh my God! I was there. This was the first time I ever went to the Australian Open. Loved the Maria match, particularly in the wake of her Wimbledon victory and because I was a fourteen year old boy at the time, hahaha. If memory serves, Serena Williams played after this match and then the final match of the daytime session was Marat Safin vs Dominik Hrbaty. Well done Jamie. Were you there too?
