  • I'm Atheist and I'm going into the Marines soon! Can't wait to see how many christians persecute me!!!

  • no religion is a good religion..the greatest military strategy is devide an conquer..if i wanted to control the world i would crusade around the planet introducing a type of religion, and crusade again with a diffrent type religion, do it enough times and over time you will see what see today....create enough chaos that man will never unite to progress... those that created that chaos are benifiting from it now....nwo

  • Are military graves marked by religion? Can I have "Atheist" written on my grave?

  • @MultiWingnut yes, and yes.

you can even be identified as satanist, or pastafarian.

  • @millitantatheist1 Pastafarian it is XD

  • @millitantatheist1 I just checked the approved faith emblems in the Arlington national cemetery. Pastafarianism is not listed.

  • @MultiWingnut hmm... i must have misremembered(something just got admitted), i was correct about satanism, right?

on a side note, i am offended that the great religion of pastafarianism is not adequately represented, how about some tolerance?

  • @millitantatheist1 I just wanted to say thanks for bringing the concept of "pastafarianism" into my life. I've not heard it before and now all I'm doind is thinking up spaghetti monster related theological puns! ... wait...

Rest in Pasta!... nope that was rubbish...

The ten condiments!??... Better but still a bit crap... errrr...

The book of raviolitions!!!..??ummm... Give me a day or two, I'll think up something funny! =/

  • @MrLittletomdj happy to help.

did you know there is actually a(rather incomplete) account of the ancient days when everyone knew his noodliness, its described in the loose canon(like the formal canon but it can change).

  • Matt makes 'the point' in this video! Basically believe what you want but when other people are being affected by your beliefs then you will be challenged!

  • In basic if you didn't go to church you had to work, we athiests and agnostics were like "fine, working is more productive and character building than prayer." I think the drills were confused why we would happily mop and clean the barracks rather than sit on our asses and clasp our hands in church, Also I saw religiousity building within the Infantry, though it was much more prevalant amongst non-combat arms, I'd see those morons praying before a convoy while I was trying to get a radio check.

  • Why would a woman join the military? I blame atheism for this crap.

  • @ELEMENT1111100 because she wants to help our country you fucking dumbass its little shits like you that are the reason i dont believe in god

  • @blanktheif she can help by staying in the kitchen you piece of trash

  • @ELEMENT1111100 you are one fucking sexist bitch go tell your mom to stay in the kitchen and see where that gets you women have just as much right to join the military as us men do

  • @blanktheif you mad?

  • @ELEMENT1111100 in the uk woman won us ww2. all the men were fighting in the war so the woman did stuff like farming, weponmaking, flying planes to the airstrips. all jobs that should apparently be done by men. that gave us an edge over the germans. if we ran the country the way you would like then the world would be run by nazies.

  • @TMeerkat8 good. maybe then we'd have true conservatism, genetic purity and unity among the people. even a thriving economy.

  • @ELEMENT1111100 and regular concetration camps. killing of jews which your god might not like seeing as thogh the jews are your gods chosen people. no voteing as the world would be run by a dictator. the econamy would be worse because only half of the countrys people would be working and making money. genraly the countrys that allow women to work are richer then the ones that keep women in the kichen. e.g. the U.K and the U.S.A.

  • @TMeerkat8 We don't vote anyway, you'd know that if you had half a brain. half of the people working? you're retarded. I rest my case.

  • @ELEMENT1111100 maby you dont but in america and the UK we do. youd know that if you had half a brain. its also funny how you call me retarded for my comment but make no effort to prove me wrong. by half i ment aproxonatly half not 50/50 exactly. about half the population is female and half is male. both sexes work for a living. do the math.

  • @TMeerkat8 You don't ACTUALLY vote, though. It's all a game of pretend, in the end the same people get in office. Go read some of thomas jefferson's quotes. Also, 60% of the world population is female. Now, name a country which doesn't allow women 'to work'? Look, there's jobs for males and jobs for females, let's keep it that way.

  • @ELEMENT1111100 well we had labour. they screwed up. now we have conservaitves. no i dont think the same people do get in. there arnt any specal jobs for male or female. its just what the idividual is good at. I do think if a woman joins the army they should have to be as fit and active as the men but if she can equal or beat the men then theres no reson she shouldent serve in the army. i assume that by "jobs for woman" you mean cooking and cleaning. most famous chefs are men.

  • @TMeerkat8 yet both parties are screwing up your nation! dohoho. okay, you know what? I agree, if a female is as strong and self dependant as males she may join I have no objection, but most women in the army are feminine bitches whom I could destroy in seconds. not bragging bro, just sayin. the females get so many privileges. they have it easy in the military(get grouped with other females instead of with the males. totally BS) and they dont have to cut their hair!

  • I'm an Atheist is in the Air Force, woohoo. But yeah, random prayers during squadren meetings. "Lets all keep them in a prayers". Fucking pisses me off though.

  • @CatFacedKillers move to any european air force and that wont happen ;)

    maybe even canadian lol ;)

  • If I’m wrong in betting my future on belief in God and Christianity I’ll suffer no loss…

since there’s nothing after death, I wouldn’t even know I was wrong!

YOU were RIGHT, but of course gain nothing because i won’t exist

If I’M right and YOU are wrong, well, I have a blissful eternity ahead of me.

You have at best the realization that you’ve given up that eternity

If you win, you will just there in your grave

If you lose, you’ve given up paradise for some sort of damnation

  • @mastermind1000 If You're betting your future on christianity, their god & an afterlife & You're wrong You may lose. Guess what happens to You if Muslims are correct ?

  • @mastermind1000 nice pascal's wager, fucking moron. mastermind? lol, anything but. the best you can muster to support your belief is a logical fallacy? ahahahah. go to sleep, youve got church in the morning

  • im an atheist and a soldier. we exist

  • I will reseach it, but if this is going to be a problem I will not join the military. Especially if in the middle of a losing fight they stop to pray instead of fight.

  • I got out of the Marines 3 years ago and for every fucking event we had a christian prayer. The militry has become overtly christian, and that is one reason I did not re-enlist. I fear for the future of this country as the religious fundamentalists become more powerful. They will lead this world to ruin.

  • Spend a little time around Marine infantry and you'll clearly see that they were not created by anything but piss, vinegar, and harsh language. No god.

  • The military is accepting of a wide range of beliefs by default and this is expected. They preach non-discrimination regularly and do a fairly good job of enforcing that policy. But having said that, you're probably still better off claiming to be Muslim or Wiccan than Atheist, at least in the US Army. For now. Fortunately it doesn't come up that often anyway. In seven years I was never once confronted about having "no religious preference" on my dog tags.

  • God Bless our men and women in the military.

  • Stevie Ray and Matt Dillahunty. Yeah...

  • It's not hard to go around killing people when you think there is a God on your side who smiles on your actions.

  • ironicaly precent of atheist in military i higer in military then in civil population.

  • I don't understand why someone would join the military willingly nowadays.

They say you're 'protecting your country' but even a child could see the military is really just the strong arm of rich people's interests abroad. Like oil interests in Iraq.

Why would you fight, kill and even die for the interests of rich oil barons? If the rich people want to go fight, they should go themselves.

Now when an outside military force invades your country you can go protect it.

  • @Shavarnarak

And don't give me the whole 9/11 excuse either. Terrorism, 9/11 included is funded and planned primarily by Saudi's. Iraq especially had nothing to do with it. And as for Afghanistan. Well it's not like they actually caught Bin Laden, fuck, they gave him like a 6 month headstart, which suggest to me they didn't care at all. (And indeed you don't hear them say much about Bin Laden now, do you?)

So why the hell would anyone join the military? Fuck that crap, I say.

  • @Shavarnarak there's lots of reasons to join the military that have nothing to do with fighting. you assume that every enlisted soldier is running around on the battlefield with a rifle. i would say that the majority of people who enlisted in the last 2 decades did it for the benefits. a solid job, free healthcare, college money, travel, to learn a trade, etc. the miitary isn't just a bunch of riflemen on the frontlines. you dont understand because you don't know what you're talking about.

  • You know, I did not know Pat was an atheist. But when he gave up his NFL contract and went into the Army I had a huge amount of respect for him. Knowing that he was an atheist I have even more respect for his memory. He is now an immortal, his name has gone down in history. R.I.P. Pat.

  • i hate to say but the religious are the best "soldiers/grunts" because through there religion there taught NOT to question (good or bad make your own mind up) the educated prob for the most part atheists are the officers. also there faith allows them to believe that when they die they go to a better place if they sacrifice themselves, therfore more willing to do acts of bravery beyond the norm. . . . so i dont think its a totally false statement

  • @braunblender Yes. There was a HUGE cover up, not a conspiracy one, but a proven fact one. Bush was up for re-election and having the most famous war hero in recent history being an atheist who died by friendly fire would not look good for mr. Jesus told me to go to war with Iraq. So they lied through their teeth and made up the whole christian charging the hill thing. Nobody was punished; well except Pat's family, who had to watch the Army lie about their late father.

    God bless America...

  • Hey guys, wasn't Pat Tilman shot on the head by a good christian because Pat was an atheist?

  • @Evolvedprimate wait a minute......he was shut in the head by a fellow army soldier?

  • @gerudgutierrez Yup.

  • @atheistram Yea I looked it up lol and thats what happened...I would never say all Military men in the Army and the USMC would do that too someone just because they are Atheist but these idiots most likely did.

  • Let's not forget that GWBush said Jesus told him to go to war with Iraq.

  • im an atheist and in the US Army. we just had a casing of the colors right before we deploy. they asked us to bow our heads and pray, whitch was part of the ceremony. i refused to bow and pray and just stood there. and my NCO scolded me and told me to bow my head. but i still refused and just ignored him. but he was deff. pretty pissed at me, but didnt get in any trouble. cuz that would be illeagal

  • @buddieG420 You might have heard of the chaplain dale goetz being killed recently... This sparked an article which I read in the wall street journal yesterday about an atheist serving in afghanistan who came out to his chaplain and the chaplain wanted to know if it was legal to have an atheist as an assistant. I'm thinking, is it even legal/constitutional to have chaplains at all??? They're serving they're country over seas, by being government paid, preaching, unarmed/overprotected dead weight.

  • @buddieG420 I hope there was no fallout later from your NCO as a result. Sometimes people can punish you without leaving a trail that its directly related to their personal prejudice.

  • I am an atheist and I am currently in the military and I have been very vocal about my atheism. My Senior Drill Sergeant was an atheist and would tell us all the time that he thought religion was stupid. We had a kid who said he was a Wiccan and my Drill Sergeant would say, do you want me to get you a tree? I'll get you a tree so you can hug it private. Its not all like that in the military but there are religious nuts everywhere.

  • @db10001110101 So your Drill Sergeant wasn't about respecting people's beliefs as protected under the 1st amendment of the constitution he took an oath to protect? Nice. (I'm an atheist btw)

  • @RockBanned I didnt say that it was right I was just pointing out that there are high ranking people in the military who are open about there atheism. He also didnt say that they couldnt worship a God. He also has a right to free speach just like everyone else. He let people worship however they wanted but he still has the right to say its stupid. Your comment is pretty pointless but you have the right to say whatever you want. Thats the point.

  • Cool, that's daswann14! I recognize his voice!

  • As an atheist I never had any real problems being a Marine. I had some very interesting and stimulating conversations about religion, god, and belief but I was never discriminated against. I did know a Wiccan who was discriminated against but that went beyond his religious beliefs, there were other factors there. The marines do sometimes have compulsory prayers during ceremonies, which I don't think they should, but they tried to be multidenominational about it.

  • @Snipe4261 Couldn't have said it better myself, devil. Oooray! lol

  • I'M SUBSCRIBED TO THE CALLER! daswann14

  • So Tillman was the only one who kept his head, he was later killed by friendly fire from bigoted Christian soldiers, the military didn't want to investigate and tried to cover up, presented him as a spiritual warrior while a colonel mocked him and his family for being atheists....

Yeah, Christians sure are better than atheists. : (

  • @aeroldoth that really happpened? tell me were i can find the artical please and thx.

  • hey man fuck you matt. nah just kidding. love the show.

  • I actually agree with that general who said that atheists can not be good soldiers because unless you have given up your ability to reason and critical thinking facilities you are not going to do well in the army.

  • That really makes no fucking sense at all. I have to give up my reasoning skills and my ability to think critically to make it in the army? Please tell me your being sarcastic.

  • "Please tell me your being sarcastic."

    ...I was being sarcastic.

  • Oh....I see; you thought I was making fun of soldiers. My comment was a reply to that general's statement that atheists could not be good soldiers. I was just mocking that guy.

Sorry, sometimes sarcasm doesn't translate well over message boards:(

  • oops sorry missed it

  • if youre on the battlefield or hafta figure out who can help and hurt your career in the military you need critical thinking skills

  • @jimbrown257 Fuck the big army, go small.

  • So...does that make you guys...*giggle*...MILITANT ATHEISTS?!...*snigger*

  • 2:31 BOO

  • I just separated from the USAF and there's definitely a big religious undertone to the military. When you leave for BMT, you have people giving you bibles on your way out of MEPS. At basic training, they will make you do all kinds of bitch work if you don't attend a religious service on Sundays (though you can go to Wiccan or Buddhist services). At every military gathering, social or formal, it almost always starts with a prayer. There is always religious propaganda posted up around base too.

  • the roman army had mithraism.the egyptian army started thier march on the same foot as they do today and saluted [sol-luted] the sun by shielding thier eyes as well.there is nothing new under the sun.pun intended.

  • There's actually even more to what your saying...the story of immaculate conception and a person dying for others has been told a few times throughout history. One of those same stories came out of Egyptian times

  • Hey ass hat, speak when you're fucking spoken to. I now have a free college education from my stint in the military and judging from your grammatical skills, or should I say lack thereof (i.e. falt; joing), your retarded ass needs to join the military so you can get that education. You'll need to get that GED first though.

  • Congratulations! I see you've learned how to use spell check. All you have to do now is learn to capitalize and punctuate and you'll have that GED in no time. Go get 'em killer!

  • Don't lie to him...it's not nice. The only way he'll earn a GED is if the standards are lowered enough for French poodles to pass the test :P

  • But I don't want french poodles flipping my burgers!

  • Don't underestimate the poodle...they're smarter than some people I've met. I have 3 ninja poodles guarding my front door & taking care of those pesky Mormons & Jehovah's Witnesses for me.

  • ^.^ >.> Watch out dude. If the poodles, tux cats and squirrels got together... our days would be numbered.

  • That makes no sense! Ninja poodles I get but "tux cats and squirrels" getting together is just crazy ;P

  • Tux Cats are Crazy! I have not met a black and white cat that hasn't been necrotic.

  • Fuck you.

  • As well as the "Let us Pray" drill command, the incessant invocations by chaplains, COs that insist that we are doing gawds work, etc. I even saw a friend of mine with a sever mental condition get screamed at by his CO that his condition was weakness being exploited by Satan.

  • Lol. Christians.

  • So you're saying, up until now, you respected these peoples for their ideals, and now you don't, just because they were in the military?

Wouldn't you say that's a tad bit shallow?

  • @chaOsMastaGuru who is "you"

  • @horbergaren don't remember, did you seriously have to reply to a year-old comment?

  • @chaOsMastaGuru what does the age of comment have to do with anything? do you think i look at the age and go "no man, thats way to fucking old"

  • @horbergaren in short, yes.

  • You are naive...

  • I was an Atheist in the Navy and that issue just never really came up. Even the officers that were hella religious knew I was not religious at all but they didn't hate on me for it, I'm such a fucking rebel they knew they could hate me for that. Nobody cared...that is at least one positive thing I can say about the Navy, haha! Other Sailors know what I'm talking about.

  • I'm trying to get into the Navy, and I'm an atheist. I figured branches like the Navy and Air Force, which seem to value ASVAB scores a bit more than the Marines/Army, and are also more "lax" overall, would be better for someone like me. So no issues huh? I hope I have the same experience.

  • Yeah, it's all good. I still remember not filling out my religion part of my papers when I was about to get my dog tags stamped and they just put "Christian" on it, but I was like fuck it, it doesn't matter.

  • Your military puts your faith in the dog tags??

-Damn, I feel sorry for you. We have simple tag with a picture of a tower.

Religion is not important when a trooper falls.

  • Wow, it's not a reason to feel sorry for someone, It's not like it affected me at all. Where are you from? A tower on the tags, I've never seen that.

  • I would have been offended.

All fallen soldiers are buried in the special area in the home cemetaries anyway, it does not matter what the trooper believed in.

    Finnish Defence Forces.

    (google "tuntolaatta", the first pic)

  • Bald Atheist Guy is actually really smart

  • Atheists FTW!!

  • The last command I was at was openly religious. It was really uncomfortable, but I was told that it was just some people excited about their faith.

  • I thought that chick was quite sexy, now i learn she was in the military, I'm like 'wow'!

  • You're just as stupid as all the other theists.

  • No one cares.

  • Well, his dead, so don´t worry, he´s not gonna find out....and how do YOU know what he liked or disliked? Please try to make sense, listening to his records doesn´t mean you konw what he thinks or wants or likes.

  • So that means atheists can't use words coined by religious people?

Can't we read book by theists? Can't we build upon information gathered or thought of by theists, or is there something special about music or SRV?

  • Poor guy.

  • @blaise6993 I think Stevie Ray was too cool to care.

  • PLURALIS, CAPS LOCK AND PRESENS OMISSION(s) SUCK(s)!!!

  • Golly! Your right, why have I not seen this my whole life?

  • "when you're under fire there are no atheists in fox holes" is saying when faced with death everyone asks god to save them... but i agree with Pat Tillman's idea of keep your head and keep surviving... until the religious assholes shot his head off...

Atheist Commandments: "Don't be an asshole"....

  • hey, thats a good comandment

  • whatever, if anybody gives me shit while I'm serving all u gotta remember is that your more devoted to your country that some imaginary bullshit

  • Atheists definitely shouldn't be in the military. We need to stay here and spread the good lack of a word to the christies et al.

  • I've been involved with the military for the past 10+ years, and I've definitely seen a shift in how atheists, or simply non-religious people, are percieved. One doesn't dare make statements that goes against the religious majority, or they are ostrasized, perhaps hazed (lightly or otherwise). Its often not scarring, but then there are those times where you wonder if they're going to drag you behind their truck by a rope.

  • i'm atheist in the military and so are 2 other of my friends, i'm the most vocal of the others, and nobody says anything to me.

  • Lucky for you and your mates. Hopefully you have such continued in the future.

  • "and nobody says anything to me" as in ostracising, or as in we won't bother you with our faith and things like that?

  • both kinda.....there were a few skirmishes but it was all in the spirit of a good debate.

  • Being ostracised isn't cool at all... :S

But luckaly it's just a bit of teasing, and testing etc (how far they can go). - Right?

  • The recruiter wouldn't even let the paper work go through without me declaring a religion.

  • It does depend on our individual circumstances, but this is another example of how it starts. As Taans1 said, some people never have trouble. But then, there's you and me. So then, what have we NOT heard about? Whats been swept under the rug? Who has been injured for nothing more than this?

  • then go to his supervisor and tell him, that's illegal and he's not allowed to do that, what branch is that i'm friends with my recruiter who got me in and i'll try to let him know. contact the military religious freedom foundation. looke them up

  • No really??

    That's outraging!

  • Yep, but that's the past. I don't know how things are now.

  • I hope better, because that wold not have been such a great time, I think...

I wouldn't liked to be completely ignored or only having to fight for myself.

  • You're saying that atheists are perceived more negatively then they were? I would have thought it would be the other way around...

  • Matt was in the millitary? Wow I respect him even more so now.

  • Jen Peeples? That's an awesome last name.

  • lol, I was thinking the same thing.

  • What is this show? Where can I watch it?

I'm actually a almost done with 90% of my paperwork in joining the Air Force -- I'm an atheist my self - Religious people just need to keep their ridiculous beliefs to themselves.

Atheists do things for many reasons, yet it seems religious people seem to do many things in the fear of punishment from their god. -- Who is the better person?

  • Look for atheist-experience(dot)com... enjoy!

  • If you don't want your beliefs ridiculed you shouldn't have ridiculous beliefs.

  • LoL well said.

  • So I'm assuming that your saying that believing in an all loving God who created us all with a purpose is crazy compared to believing that we're here on this planet in this complex universe for no reason, we have absolutely no purpose whatsoever in our life, and we came about by random chance and could possibly be a mistake?

I'm sorry but whether we're crazy or not, my friend, your beliefs are just depressing. How can you look at the world and see us having come about just by blind chance?

  • Sorry that you see it that way. It would be terribly unfortunate if you were wrong and you had spent your entire One and Only One life preparing for another life that will never come.

Though I don't think of you as a friend.

How? With Science. Use it some time.

  • Because we're here by pure chance.

  • I'm going to stray slightly away from the more common logical refutations of your point because I have a few things I'd like to point out. 1) The universe has laws, we came into existence because we were the survivors in an area suited to life. Not chance. 2) If you require a god to give your life purpose, that's sad. People should be able to give themselves their own purposes. 3) the pleasantries or lack thereof of a truth do not make it a non-truth. Truth is objective.

  • Im sorry, atheists tend to choose beliefs based on their credibility. Not based on whether or not each belief makes them feel happy, purposeful, and fuzzy on the inside.

Whether a statement is depressing or uplifting holds no bearing on its veracity.

So, yes, believing in a god is crazy. There is a complete absence of proof. If this were a trial, the judge would have to find god inexistent on the grounds that there is an extreme lack of evidence.

  • ok heres somthing, why doesnt he show everyone himself so that we can see once and for all that that he is real? he wants us to have our own free will?

so if we have a purpose, wouldn't that mean he is commanding us in a way that we cant see and thus dont have any freewill?

no, your wrong, we didnt come by chance, if you look at it like that then yes we did, life came about this plant by 1 out of 10 billion, and just because we don't have any reason for being doesn't mean we shouldn't

  • Mistake?

    What are you talking about?

Whether something is depressing or not is a moot point.

You ask how we ended up on this planet in this "complex universe" that's like marveling over the fact that water fits your glass perfectly

  • How can you think that someone created us at is image is cool with slavery, genocide, human sacrifice. And from what you say God created us here for a purpose, please man tell what is this purposes, I'm really curious about that ! What is so depressing about thinking that we are what we are, and there is no deep reason for it. Stop wasting your time pryaing and just be !!

  • That's just the thing. I don't believe in someone like that. I believe in a God who's all loving, just, forgiving, and is not cool with racist slavery, genocide, and anything else that falls under that. And I'm afraid I can't tell what this purpose is because I don't know what it is. When you meet God, you'll have to ask Him. I'd personally like to think that its a little more uplifting to think we're here for a purpose and not just because we're here randomly. Those are just my thoughts though.

  • Then, you arn't Christian !

  • How am I not Christian? lol

  • To be a christian, IMO, you have to follow the bible and trust everything it says. It's kinda weird don't you think to take just one part of the christian holy book and discard the rest. Because from a christian point of view, the bible is the word of god. So if you believe in a all loving god, it's not the same god of the bible. So if you are not of with slavery and genocide, what other part of the bible don't you agree with ? Genesis ? Appocalypse ? For me it doesn't make any sense !

  • @5thAmericanIdiot I think it's pretty sad that you want to think we're here for a purpose. why? Who cares that we're not here for a purpose.

As for God being "not cool" with racism, slavery, genocide etc.. have you actually read the bible? God commits those things and more in there. If you ignore those things in the bible then how can you take everyhting else as truth? You can't pick and choose.

  • It's The Atheist Experience, a public access show from here in Austin. It's from the ACA (Atheist Community of Austin). They're pretty oool. I'm joining next month.

  • Joining as in being part of their (normal) staff?

  • Joining as in becoming a member. There are lots of members in the ACA - it's one of the nation's largest Atheist groups. There are even non-Texas members from all around the country and last I heard, members from other countries as well.

  • lol, really!? Even vrom other countries.

    Cool.

And Texas is one of the most Christian states in the USA there is, right? - Maybe that's why there's more need for it.

Anyway... Good Luck and Enjoy! xD

  • Actually it's funny. Austin is the capitol of Texas, one of the most religious states...but we're not religious at all. We're one of the most liberal cities in the entire US. It's a pretty cool city. If you're ever in the US from the Netherlands, feel free to visit us.:)

  • lol, really?

So Austin is like the bright light in the darkness? :P

Most liberal of the intire USA? Wow, I ought to see that haven of hope! :P If I ever visit the USA, and are 'near' to Texas (Austin) I'll try to visit you (us as in you personally or us as in us, the citizens of Austin?).

  • "Us" as in the people of Austin. If I invited you to visit me over the Internet without knowing you, that would be pretty creepy.

Austin is a great city. We're the live music capitol of the world, and you could also possibly attend an ACA lecture if you're in on the first Sunday of the month.

  • Yes, that would be freaky... or nice. :P

I've been invited to visit some-one in Utah. xD To do some gliding... if I'm ever near. :P

  • "It's The Atheist Experience, a public access show from here in Austin. It's from the ACA (Atheist Community of Austin). They're pretty oool. I'm joining next month."

I am a theist. But I wish to join the ACA.

  • You're a theist and want to join the ACA? If you're being serious, how come?

  • As a theist, you are ineligible to join the ACA. We require our members to "affirm that I am without a belief in any god" in order to join. However, if you're willing to deny your god in writing, we'll certainly put your dues to good use. ;)
