Apples and oranges. You really can't compare the two renditions so I love them both. The original song is about lust unbridled, and giving into that lust. Eli's version is very much in line with that. Boyce's version is much more innocent. Both the vocals and lyrical changes suggest a smouldering yearning, but not to the point of giving in.

I think he tries to improvise to much, like when he says make up ON <--- you think im funny when i tell the punch line WRONG <---- and VALENTINE. He has a good voice but he needs to know when to accentuate the song which should be the chorus. He just makes it just hazy and blank. He needs to make more distinct and staccato. It could have been much better but it wasn't half bad. Great voice. NOt that I can sing better but this song is great for its simplicity.

To be honest... I really didn't like it.

Waaaay too much autotune. I'm sure you have a naturally good voice, but it really made it dull for me. It seems that you tried a wee bit too hard haha. Keep doing what you love, man, after all I'm only an opinion. Girls can be naturally pretty, and you can tell when they have a pound of makeup on their face which takes it away from them. So just take off the autotuneee budd! haha, thanks. Good job though.
