@LxHxCx661@LxHxCx661 it was released on a 45rpm 7inch inch single.. never on a album as far as I know... You can buy the record but you prob won't get any change out of £200... I have it though :-P
Loving you has been Something I've never seen Girl I love you so Don't you ever go Since you've been hangin' round Oh I've been upside down Girl I love you so Don't you ever go Cause I'm not, I feel that Mmmm, when you're near I fear you'll disappear Oh into my mind And leave me far behind Since you've been hangin' round Oh I've been upside down Girl I love you so Don't you ever go
I can only hope people who enjoy this look up more 60's Garage. People have been digging for rare Funk,Soul & Jazz forever now.....but 60's Garage seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to people appreciating it.
I heard the mix this is in....it's alright. Though I will admit I'm already a 60's garage fan. The song on it's own is fantastic though! Truly should have a been a hit. It's so unique. I feel I've heard enough 60's stuff to be able to say that. Does remind me of the Zombies a bit but still.
This record was made in 1968. The Band "The Outcasts" were from Kentucky. Many of the guys have gone on to be in other groups. I have 3 copies of the record...I will never sell. Ralph Morman who was the lead singer is trying to get material together for an album release in 2011. He was with Joe Perry Project, Savoy Brown,Bux, Heavy Rain. Go to Google and you can read all about him. Great singer!
can someone please send me or put me the directions of where more music like this is..i want to hear more from this band or the lead singer just too amazing
@wodday look up the band mount carmel a new band with an old fuzz sound..i got to meet the guys they are really cool..i think you will like them still listining is a pretty good song
Catchy. Both Fuzzed Guitar and Jazz Guitar. Great lyrics.
WTF is this obscure and unknown!?
MY GOD!!! So many lost hits... and the only folks to find and appreciate them are the world's best DJs... and even they aren't as well known as they should be because of the dilution of the trade in popular view. *SIGH* DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist are keeping it alive and real in a Genre that seems "post-apocalyptic" sometimes...
I thank Wikipedia for allowing me to know where they got this song from:D
LOVE! From hometown boys in Ashland, Ky (not Texas, not WVA, not Ireland) , this song never loses it's brilliance. Song is written by Outcast guitarist Al Collinsworth who later had a prog band "Pre" with little brother Larry. Just saw Al this weekend, he plays steel guitar. That is Ralph Mormon singing, he was in a band with Joe Perry between Aerosmith line-ups.
This is one bloody funky awesome record!!! It's freakin wierd, that growin up in the era, in Sydney Aust., i am only discovering hundreds and thousands of gems like these that i definatly would've bought (or stolen :P i was a bit of a bad teen).. if only the sold them or gave them a chance. With the right promotion and airplay, this would have definatly %100 been a hit.. i'd put my house on it.
Hi am I one of these people then? I got mine of Ebay last year buy now for $40 around £25 and one sold last month for £85 if you don't beleave I have one give me your email and I'll send you a picture of me with the record and a love to you note :)
deal?
I find it crazy how I'm sure a mint copy of this record would sell for £200+ I will upload the b side if anyone is interested?
the unexpected...I was pleasantly astounded and laughed out loud when my son shared this tune with me yesterday. The last time I heard this song was on the radio while in my teens in Ashland, KY, although I was much more familiar with the next generation of the band, as I was a former die-hard fan of the Appalachian Mainline in the early 70's - the best local cover band of the time. They even played at my wedding.
Ever so cool to hear this tune again. katwalski@yahoo
alright muthafukkazzzz!! this is the real way to find it...simply go to limewire and type in "dj shadow" in artist then a shit load of his song will pop up but choose the one that says "DJ Shadow-product placement part 2"
I've bin looking fir this vinyl. Would any of you know what the album is called or where I can find it?!?!?

True talent exposes itself in this modern world of music very slowly, like water pushing from behind the cracks of rocks.

@pitchfordryan Outcasts from TX or Kentucky????? The real Outcasts were a punk band from Ireland. This song still sounds pretty good though.
