  • I've bin looking fir this vinyl. Would any of you know what the album is called or where I can find it?!?!?

  • @LxHxCx661 @LxHxCx661 it was released on a 45rpm 7inch inch single.. never on a album as far as I know... You can buy the record but you prob won't get any change out of £200... I have it though :-P

  • @deletethis345 Yea I first heard the DJ shadow and cut chemist version on his part, sick skater btw.

  • Real music. Real people. No marketing shit involved. Kill all marketing!

  • repeat, repeat, repeat, light a spliff, and repeat

  • Michel Couillard l'homme de la situation.

  • Dj Shadow and Cut-Chemist brought me here :)

  • this song was kicking when i first heard it on tony silvas part. all the little sounds are so dope

  • @deletethis345 yup same here man i fucking loved that video

  • WOW.......

  • do you have any more of these guys??

  • The true talented musicians and songwriters are hardly ever appreciated.

True talent exposes itself in this modern world of music very slowly, like water pushing from behind the cracks of rocks.

  • fuckin FRESSSSHH

  • Loving you has been Something I've never seen Girl I love you so Don't you ever go Since you've been hangin' round Oh I've been upside down Girl I love you so Don't you ever go Cause I'm not, I feel that Mmmm, when you're near I fear you'll disappear Oh into my mind And leave me far behind Since you've been hangin' round Oh I've been upside down Girl I love you so Don't you ever go
  • @dooditsbarnes thanks! , now to translate!

  • i need the lyrics please! :D

  • I knew about this before Product Placement. Dj Shadow won my love once he switched over to this.

  • Fucking <3

  • When I heard this in the Mad Decent Mix #60 I IMMEDIATELY had to track this down.

  • I can only hope people who enjoy this look up more 60's Garage. People have been digging for rare Funk,Soul & Jazz forever now.....but 60's Garage seems to get the short end of the stick when it comes to people appreciating it.

  • @EmeraldFlowsion62

    Well said.

    Any recommendations?

  • @EmeraldFlowsion62

    Well said.

    Any recommendations

  • I heard the mix this is in....it's alright. Though I will admit I'm already a 60's garage fan. The song on it's own is fantastic though! Truly should have a been a hit. It's so unique. I feel I've heard enough 60's stuff to be able to say that. Does remind me of the Zombies a bit but still.

  • oh wow i did the only video response, well check it out, this song is awesome, i love it and i expanded on it.

  • да) то что надо)

  • i just can't find the chords/tab, does anyone know where can i find? thanks!

  • this blows my little mind

  • Awesome song. Thanks to DJ Shadow for bringing this underrated song back to life(Product Placement part 2).

  • can somebody get me the chord changes to this atleast? lol

  • diplo: chasing the dragon. cool stuff. they've sampled this in a great mix

  • This record was made in 1968. The Band "The Outcasts" were from Kentucky. Many of the guys have gone on to be in other groups. I have 3 copies of the record...I will never sell. Ralph Morman who was the lead singer is trying to get material together for an album release in 2011. He was with Joe Perry Project, Savoy Brown,Bux, Heavy Rain. Go to Google and you can read all about him. Great singer!

  • can someone please send me or put me the directions of where more music like this is..i want to hear more from this band or the lead singer just too amazing

  • @wodday : type in PSYCHE or PSYCHEDELIC in the Search box

  • @wodday look up the band mount carmel a new band with an old fuzz sound..i got to meet the guys they are really cool..i think you will like them still listining is a pretty good song

  • Got this original 45rpm... killer

  • Got this orginal 45rpm... killer

  • fuzz genius swoon

  • fuckin amazing song <3

  • Loving you sometimes dear <3

Ahhh ;; i love this song.

  • i tried looking for this at the record store down the street, i cant belive i cant find it! does anyone know the name of the record?

  • i can never get enough of this song

  • One of the best songs ever made. It makes me Sad and Happy at the same time.

  • Catchy. Both Fuzzed Guitar and Jazz Guitar. Great lyrics.

WTF is this obscure and unknown!?

MY GOD!!! So many lost hits... and the only folks to find and appreciate them are the world's best DJs... and even they aren't as well known as they should be because of the dilution of the trade in popular view. *SIGH* DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist are keeping it alive and real in a Genre that seems "post-apocalyptic" sometimes...

I thank Wikipedia for allowing me to know where they got this song from:D

  • LOVE! From hometown boys in Ashland, Ky (not Texas, not WVA, not Ireland) , this song never loses it's brilliance. Song is written by Outcast guitarist Al Collinsworth who later had a prog band "Pre" with little brother Larry. Just saw Al this weekend, he plays steel guitar. That is Ralph Mormon singing, he was in a band with Joe Perry between Aerosmith line-ups.

  • what was the name of the album?(if any)

anyone know what the album artwork looked like? thanks

  • my hearts drops everytime i hear this song

  • I had a copy of Gran Am - Get High which was mixed with this on Product Placement but someone offered me $430 for it so i let it go.

  • is this a chick singing?

  • does anybody know of link where i can get this song?

oh and DJ Shadow used this song on his collaboration album with Cut Chemist

Product Placement is the name of the album, its on part 2 near the end. you should check it out!

  • @chunkychon Its a record, not an MP3, try looking on Ebay, and find £100

  • @confunkyfresh i ended up just converting the audio from this video into an mp3 on this website. all i needed was the url.

  • @chunkychon well now you have made it into an MP3 but like I said it was never made to be an MP3...

  • @chunkychon I just wish they had a better quality version

  • how the FUCK did this not get famous

  • HOLY SHIT HOW DID THIS NOT GET FAMOUS.

  • where can i get this? 45...mp3...don't care...

  • I have a mint version of this. I paid £120 ish for it, maybe a little more (but the $ was weak then) I think it was $245

    Killer record. Thanks for posting

  • Also own a copy of this. Band was from Cincinnati (see label)...

  • This is one bloody funky awesome record!!! It's freakin wierd, that growin up in the era, in Sydney Aust., i am only discovering hundreds and thousands of gems like these that i definatly would've bought (or stolen :P i was a bit of a bad teen).. if only the sold them or gave them a chance. With the right promotion and airplay, this would have definatly %100 been a hit.. i'd put my house on it.

  • I uploaded side B and A all in one, WITH THE ALL IMPORTANT LYRICS, don't all thank me at once :P

  • To be clear for everyone, this is not the Outcasts from San Antonio, TX. Mike Post had nothing to do with this band. These boys are from WV.

  • @pitchfordryan Outcasts from TX or Kentucky????? The real Outcasts were a punk band from Ireland. This song still sounds pretty good though.

  • yesss

  • Is it true that mike post(The law and order theme song writer.) was a member of this group?

  • Love this song, shame the band didn't record more music.

Anyone know where I can get the B-side "Sha-La-La"? I'd love to hear it.

  • @confunkyfresh Want to sell a copy of this?

  • Can't get enough of this! Perfect and haunting...

  • how did you even find out the original

my pops told me who it was but without him i wouldnt have known

  • the unexpected...I was pleasantly astounded and laughed out loud when my son shared this tune with me yesterday. The last time I heard this song was on the radio while in my teens in Ashland, KY, although I was much more familiar with the next generation of the band, as I was a former die-hard fan of the Appalachian Mainline in the early 70's - the best local cover band of the time. They even played at my wedding.

Ever so cool to hear this tune again. katwalski@yahoo
